There are a few of us who are immune to the charms of the new president. Like me, they believe that the sheep's clothing has vanished and what we now have is a dangerous wolf stalking the corridors of power on Capitol Hill.

Yes, there's a new act in the White House these days but while Harry Houdini built his reputation performing death-defying escapes and magic tricks his political Doppelganger is certainly the master of dark arts and mass illusion.

This president has gone from charming to harming and few have noticed.

Well, a few are starting to wake up. Not many though. He never did have on sheeps clothing. The people who fell for his illusion were/are still transfixed on his words.....they choose to ignore his actions. Some do this because he is a democrat and they are overjoyed that "they" now have control..(over killing the people of the world), others are just dumb as rocks who refuse to see just how dangerous this man is.

The very reason he is such a danger is because people cannot see it which I find beyond belief.

As I myself have stated. Obama is an Illusionist. Bush was the real face of this country, retarded, brutal, selfish, warmongering, greedy, and arrogant. Many despised Bush and rightly so. Obama is able to cover up the true face of this country. He is like a heavy cake of makeup covering the deep blemishes of an old whore.

And once again, to quote roosters sig. The whore still rides.

If he caves in to the GOP on the public option, MANY will notice.

If President Obama doesn't deliver on REAL healthcare reform, he's going to be a one-term president.

No more "Yes we can."

From here on, it had better be "Yes we will!"

Or the answer will be "No you won't!" ... (get a second term)

I only wish it was Obama who was the only one to make the decision...it's not just him. He has to have the backing of the Congress. You'd think that was a done deal, considering how many Dems there are in both houses, but unfortunately, there are Blue Dogs in both of them...and they really like to bring attention to themselves simply by saying NO.

I am still an Obama supporter...after all, he's only been in office not quite six months.

House Dems to tax rich to pay for health care

House Democrats plan to pay for a sweeping health care overhaul by boosting taxes on the wealthy.

The taxes will hit households with incomes of $350,000 a year and above.

Ways and Means Committee Chairman Charles Rangel of New York said the tax would raise $540 billion over 10 years.

In combination with cuts to Medicare and Medicaid that would pay for a comprehensive health bill in the range of $1 trillion.

Rangel told reporters of the decision after a day of meetings on President Barack Obama's top domestic priority.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE.

I really want "single payer". But I'm a realist, and it appears that Obama won't go that way. Even with that, I think Obama's plan holds hope of really doing great good. And it still can be a stepping stone to "single payer".

This "Do nothing president" has actually completed the job set before him.

You may figure it out eventually, or you may not. Dont really care either way.
