There are some headlines this morning about boycotting the state this summer by organizations planning conventions. Don't know if it'll make a difference or not.

I don't support ILLEGAL immigration. I do support LEGAL immigration, but I also suspect that a lot of this is posturing and, to some extent, just another ploy by Repubs to harness the votes of those who firmly believe that illegal immigrants are a drain on our society, and to further divide the nation. Distraction from coverage of culprits like Goldman-Sachs, and the Republican loyalty to big business. They talk about how illegals get the same benefits as legals, yet they pay nothing into the system. Texas makes billions of dollars on the labor of illegals, and I doubt that Arizona is far behind. So, what is the real story behind this? I'm just not sure...but I suspect it has a lot to do with the 2010 election.

Don’t forget the bill in between, made into law by the same group of wackos, that outlawed ethnic studies in K-12 defining it as seditious. I can look up a link later if there is any interest.

I saw that stupid law. Seems like you've got a pretty brain-dead, appealing to the retarded masses governor over there (luckily, we in MS also have an idiot--he's one of those suing against the health care bill).

Yeah us. We sure live in a swell place.

The governor asked the state Attorney General to file suit against the Health Care Reform Act and he refused. She got the legislature to enact a law that gave her the power and funds to file suit independent of the Attorney General. Unfortunately, I know of no place I would want to live that is better. There are places in Northern Arizona but still in Arizona, with politicians that think the tea baggers are pinkos.

That is the EXACT same thing Haley Barbour did here! Fuckers. Its like when Bush didn't have the power he want, he just circumvented the process and got the power he wanted. Yea democracy!

 It's amazing...if it wasn't so pathetic, it would indeed be laughable. Republican and far too many Democrat "leaders" are owned by the big insurance corporations. Yet, what I also find so amazing is that the red states have more people on public assistance than blue states. :drunken: :?

I tell ya...it's spooky, especially when you think about the ignorant masses who wet their pants when Sarah Palin or Rand Paul speak at some redneck function.
