How about another quickie dip in the GOP cesspool to check out some of the filth floating around in there, huh?

Carey Lee Cramer, 44, took the stand to defend himself against the charges of incestuous aggravated child sexual assault including fondling and intercourse. Cramer, a political consultant, gained noteriety when he released an anti-Gore television spot during the 2000 campaign. The ad showed a nine-year-old girl picking daisies; she was a child who was living with the Cramer family at the time...and she was the object of his abuse for seven years, starting when she was EIGHT. He also molested another girl of about the same age, this one a RELATIVE. Eight years old?!? What kind of sickness would make an adult male do something to horrible?

Representative Jim Galley, running for Congress as a "pro-traditional family" candidate, was married to two women simultaneously from 1982 to 1990. Now, I don't know about you, but this doesn't sound a whole lot like MY traditional family; my father only had one wife. Galley was also accused by one of them of physical abuse and defaulting on child support payments. Yep, a real "family values" kinda guy, all right!

Good news from the Department of Defense! Charles Lynch, a Defense Information Systems Agency official who was arrested on a charge of child pornography, has had the charges dropped. The investigation is continuing, however...

There's a campaign manager--Republican, of course!--in the state of Arizona, whose name is Steve Aiken and he's a former Quakerstown, Pennsylvania police officer and a self-proclaimed reverend. He's also a former child molester. Back in 1995, this piece of garbage was convicted of two counts of corruption of a minor stemming from relationships with not one but TWO underage girls...for which he served time at Montgomery County Correctional. He has a radio show based out of Tuscon called--ready?--"Straight From the Hip." He was once communications director for the Traditional Values Coalition which represents 43,000 churches committed to the eradication of gay rights...and Harry Potter. No, I'm not kidding. (Why are ALL the Fundamentalists stark raving mad?)

John J. Collins, 57, was a music teacher at an Eatontown, NJ middle school who was named Teacher of the Year...except it just so haqppened he was molesting a 15-year-old girl that same year. He also abused a 13-year-old girl four years earlier; a serial offender. He admitted these things in court, pleading guilty to two counts of second degree sexual assault and one charge of witness tampering. In exchange for the guilty plea, Prosecutor Thomas Filcher recommended a reduced prison sentence of ten years. (Reduced? Whoa!) Collins served on the local Borough Council for over 20 years, a Republican. Naturally.

So how sick are these rightwads really? I mean, there's probably no way to plumb the depths of their depravity...but indicted former vice-presidential chief-of-staff Irving Lewis Libby gives us some preliminary indications. You see, this perverted pustule wrote a book called The Apprentice. In it, he describes--in disgustingly graphic detail, mind you!--the sickest combination of beastiality and pedophilia I do believe I've ever heard tell of: Bears being induced to have sex with ten-year-old girls. If we're very, very lucky, Patrick Fitzgerald's charges will keep this sorry Scooter off the streets for a long, long time.

let us take our leave of these bleak mortal sinners for the tome being--it's REALLY starting to get to me--and peek into some good old fashioned down and dirty GOP hypocrisy plus the corruption that is never very far from the surface in their world. Not only are they lechers and sybarites, they're plain, simple liars and thieves and bullies, too. (No, they have no redeeming qualities...)

As of May 18th, the Federal Bureau of Investigation began probing General Michael Moseley, the highest ranking officer in the US Air Force along with his predecessor, General John Jumper, for their malfeasance in the handling of a nearly $50 million contract fir the Thunderbirds precision flying team. They apparently helped steer the contract to one of their cronies, General Hal Hornburg. If you thoiught that the Joint Chiefs of Staff might somehow be exempt from the widespread smarm and swindling wrought by this blighted administration...think again.

It took a while after the downfall of Representative Randy "Duke" Cunningham, but the spotlight of justice is finally focussing upon his fellow Californian, Rep. Jerry Lewis, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. Subpoenas have already been issued by the US Attorney's office in Los Angeles. His connections to Brent Wilkes and former Rep. Bill Lowery--now a lobbyist--are going to be examined in light of millions of dollars in earmarks for fiendishly expensive Pentagon weapons systems.

Another former aid to "Black Death" Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty. Roger Stillwell, desk officer for the Mariana Islands at the US Department of the Interior, was charged with false certification. (You may also recall that Gale Norton, Secretary of the Interior, resigned her post; you may be sure that this had a great deal to do with it.) This is a very special--and very ominous!--development in that it marks the first time the White House has been implicated in the Abramoff misdeeds. It must be kept in mind that he was a president of the College Republicans and maintained a strictly partisan policy in his dealings. In fact, his stated goal was "to remove Democrats from power permanently." That's our Jack!

Speaking of pleading guilty, another of diseased Tommy DeLay's cronies did it, too. Tony Rudy, former deputy chief-of-staff, admitted conspiring with--you guessed it!--"Black" Jack Abramoff. before this thing is all over, there might not be a single member of DeLay's team still loose!

Remember Bernard Kerik, the bluff, blustering turkey appointed by President Loser to head up the Department of Homeland Security before all the feces hit the fan? Well, Big Bernie was arrested and booked for accepting bribes. He faced a possible felony indictment, but chose to chicken out and plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges which will require him to pay almost a quarter of a million dollars in fines. What a stinking slime-sucker...

And, in the most corrupt Republican state in the union, four people pleaded no contest in an Ohio ethics case. Lucas County Commissioner Maggie Thurber, Toledo councilwoman Betty Schultz, former Toledo Mayor Donna Owens and former Ohio Representative are the bad broads who were fined for failure to report political gifts.

You want to talk major league, platinum-plated hypocrisy? Here's a beaut. Henry Hyde, then chair of the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee and himself a long-married man, admitted to carrying on a five-year affair with a younger woman, also married. Now, double adultery may seem to be no big deal these days--Hello, Don Sherwood!--but let's not forget that Hyde was the man who sat in judgement on President Clinton, the man who castigated him roundly for the Lewinsky business. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/events/clinton_under_fire/latest_news/173202.stm)

Larry Dale Floyd, an elected GOP constable in Denton County, Texas Precinct Two--and a proud member of the GOP--was arrested and booked into Fremont County Jail in Colorado on suspicion of child prostitution, enticement of a child, sexual assault on a child, pandering, inducement of child prostitution and trafficking in children. This piece of garbage had crossed state lines to meet a woman who promised to deliver her 8-year-old daughter for his sexual pleasure. EIGHT YEARS OLD!! Unfortunately for Officer Floyd, the woman turned out to be an undercover Canon City, Colorado police officeer and he was whisked away to the hoosegow. We can only wonder, of course, how many times he did it successfully before being apprehended... (http://tinyurl.com/bb7hk AND http://www.armchairsubversive.com/Larry_Dale_Floyd4.htm)

Serial killer Ted Bundy is known to have campaigned for the Republican Party where, I feel certain, he felt right at home. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/crime/caseclosed/tedbundy1.shtml)

He was a former Cass County, Illinois GOP chairman who was volunteering in the gubernatorial campaign of Jim Ryan when he was charged with criminal sexual assault on a teenage female RELATIVE in 2002. His name is John Butler and, as an all-around GOPervert and scoundrel, had previously received pardons for burglary convictions. Some people just refuse to do the right thing. (http://www.armchairsubversive.com/John_Butler2.htm)

Oh, no!! Not another weenie-wagger! Tennessee state Representative Keith Westmoreland was arrested on SEVEN felony counts of "lewd and lascivious exhibition to girls under the age of 16." This RePERVlican filth got his jollies from exposing himself to children; just couldn't keep it in his pants! He was under investigation for these incidents when he apparently committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest. http://www.armchairsubversive.com/Keith%20Westmoreland.htm AND http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/06/20/tenn.lawmaker.dead/)

Had enough? I have...

Big hello right back at ya, Catherine!

I don't really mean to stay away so long...just busy. I like the ambiance here and I do try to stop by as much as I can. These days, though, most of my Web time is spent researching a book I'm writing about rock & roll. (The idea is to get a couple of chapters and an outline finished to see if publishers might be interested before I grind out the whole thing. You may be sure that if I get a nibble, I won't be heard from for a long, long time.)

Also, I've finally started to tackle those piles of stuff that have been cluttering up the penthouse and which include even more gross, disgusting GOP perversions. This overdue intention finally became a New Years Resolution and is getting done at last!

I hope this one hasn't been posted yet. I have read and read and I don't see it. There is no end to this tread is there? Sick Sick Sick.

No, Ms. 53, there is most assuredly NO end...

That's the first time I've seen that one and I do thank you for the assist. Please understand that the idea is to collect as much information as possible on these depraved Republican dirtbags and I'm ALWAYS overjoyed when someone lends a hand. I have no corner on this market; I'm not the least bit territorial. Let us pool our information, share and share alike. And, most important of all, PASS IT ON.

Thanks again...

AOM ... You remember that child porn network of websites / servers they busted back some years ago? They said that those who were paying subscribers (there were many from all walks of life,) had better watch out. As usual, nothing ever happened and it drifted away from the news and out of the spotlight. I wonder how many were politicians? Anyway, I've been reading your blogs and you are excellent writer. keep up the good work man!

Sir-Irate: Greetings and Salutations! First of all, I sincerely thank you for the kind words. Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to make your acquaintance earlier, but I've been jammed up since the first of the month. You had best believe that I'm pretty bloody irate myself these days! Filthy, dirty Republicans just give me the pip because they pretend to a higher moral standard and actually live a vastly LOWER one. Liars, hypocrites and scumbags.

My beat is not so much kiddie porn--which I think is the most despicable crime in existence--as it is GOP wrong-doing. (If there is a Hell, the lowest, hottest, slimiest part of it has to be reserved for child molesters and other monsters who would prey upon the innocent.) You may have noticed that I include thieves, drug pushers and other assorted criminals here even though the thread title is "Republican Pedophilia." I believe that ALL rightwing misbehavior, malfeasance and trickery needs to be exposed for the entire world to see. I say all of that to explain why I missed the bust on the porn websites and servers. I feel fairly certain that the reason it drifted out of range is that the sting caught some high-ranking people, whether Republicans or not.

In case you don't know it, the media's job is NOT to inform. (This site is TV News Lies...right?) Their designated task is to perform in service of the moneyed elites, keeping undesirable information away from peons like you and I while distracting us with sports, Britney, and various non-essentials while they continue to pick our pockets. Do you think CNN is going to talk about the fact that the average working American's salary is stagnating and even declining while CEO salaries are skyrocketing?? Not on your tintype! Do you think Fox Noise will EVER do a story about the income disparity and the fact that parts of America look like they belong in the Third World?

That's how it is, Citizen. Get used to it. Meantime, take care and be well...

PS-Due to internal conflicts there, I no longer blog at Conceptual Guerilla's Strategy & Tactics...part of the reason I was MIA earlier this month.

Late Breaking News!!!

Former Pennsylvania Congressman Joseph M. McDade--SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS OLD!--was accused on Valentine's Day of "exposing his sexual organs" to two women at a beach resort in Sanibel, Florida. (Maybe he was just looking for some love..?) This despicable degenerate served in the House (A Republican, of course) from 1963 to 1999 and now works at a Washington lobbying firm. No stranger to the long arm of the law, he was indicted in 1992 on charges that he accepted gifts from defense companies for helping them win lucrative contracts...but was later cleared by a jury.

This old fart actually had the nerve to think that someone might be interested in his ancient appendage!

And The Hits Just Keep On Coming!

The Reverend Lonnie W. Latham, who had supported a resolution calling on gays and lesbians to "reject their sinful lifestyle" was arrested outside the Habana Inn in Oklahoma City on January 3, 2006...for asking an undercover male police officer to come up to his room FOR ORAL SEX.

These people are just the biggest hypocrites on the planet.

Now his trial is going on and his defense attorney has argued that he has a constitutional right to solicit sex. whether gay or hetero, from whoever he chooses. (You can't make this stuff up!!) Granted that he's probably correct, this is still a question of espousing one thing and--when no one's supposed to be looking, mind you--doing another...a GOP specialty.

Agreed, AOM...and the VP's pregnant, lesbian daughter is a perfect example:

Indeed, Catherine; I find the Cheneys' homosexual, pregnant daughter a delicious hypocrisy for a politician who has pandered to the most intolerant, extra-chromosome mouth-breathers in America for his political support. Did you see the Cheney interview where he freaked out on Wolf Blitzer? Hilarious! I thought for a second he was going to allow his horns and serpent tongue and cloven hooves to be seen by the teevee audience! (Do watch it! It's a Crooks & Liars video and Johnny Amato is top-shelf.)

For a more in-depth treatment than I gave here, please visit one of my favorite haunts and let Mr. D. Glass rain down his frighteningly literate, fall-down funny analysis upon you. And feel free to go back as often as you please; I recommend him unreservedly.

Thank you AOM. Good site.

It pays to keep in mind just how decadent these people are. And the many pages you have posted here are important to those of us who want to remember we have to keep fighting to get back to something in America of which we can be proud.

These people are not it...

Glad you thought Driftglass entertaining, dori; he's one of my faves. He's smart and funny and so literate I, personally, find him intimidating. That guy's got the super-snark! He's a fairly regular poster, too, so stop back in a couple of days and let him do it again.

I have told him several times now how much I enjoy his work...

In looking over my previous posts here at TV News Lies, I've discovered quite a bit of duplication. I most sincerely apologize for that and I thank you for your forbearance. This information I am presenting here has been collected over a period of two years or so and stored in my computer. Here's the deal: I have always tried to disseminate this stuff as widely as possible and simply cannot always recall what I've posted where. My memory ain't what it used to be. Once again, I'm sorry if the repetition has put anybody off; you've certainly been kind in not mentioning that fact if it has.

The following are--Angel guaranteed!--all new and culled from my recently organized notes. This is the first time they've appeared here. I probably have material for one more decent-sized fresh post and I will include all my sources at the end of it for posterity. Research into this disgusting but very necessary subject matter needs to continue, of course, and I intend to do my part...but, as I've ALWAYS said, I need all the help I can get. It is incumbent upon every concerned Progressive and liberal and populist to get the goods on these unclean Republicans, document our findings as fully as possible and then spread it from sea to shining sea!

Kent Hovind, owner of Dinosaur Adventure Land, a crummy little creationist theme park in Pensacola, Florida was found guilty of all 58 federal counts against him and sentenced to TEN YEARS in prison. (His wife was also found guilty of 44 of those counts.) {http://www.pensacolanewsjournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070119/NEWS01/701190332/1006#} Otherwise known as Dr. Dino, this fundamentalist freakjob has been preaching for quite a while that Adam and Eve lived with dinosaurs because the earth is only 6000 years old...which is so badly wrong on so many levels that it just makes my teeth hurt.

He claimed to have three doctorates--all from unaccredited universities!--and despite obvious evidence to the contrary made a great deal of money preying on gullible evangelical Christians who reject the notion of evolution. His 58 counts revolve around his unsuccessful attempts to hide his wealth from the IRS and avoid paying taxes on it. This man is clearly a fool and a charlatan whose persistent tax fraud and related chicanery finally caught up with him and landed him in the slammer. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Joshua Dickens, elected November 2004 to the constable position in East Fork, Arkansas, was sentenced on September 30, 2005 to FIVE YEARS in prison for assault on a 25-year-old female, name withheld, but the jury acquitted of a rape charge requested by the prosecutor. {http://flyservers.registerfly.com/members5/policecrime.com/misconduct/Arkansas_police.html About 1/3 way down, look for "09/30/2005 - CONWAY"}

From all outward indications, this slimy specimen got off mighty easy: Apparently he beat, burned, kicked, handcuffed and kidnapped the woman with whom he was involved. After the trial, a 16-year-old girl came forward with accusations that she, too, had been sexually assaulted. We can only hope he does every single day of that 5 years.

Nevada's unclean Republican governor, Jim Gibbons, is currently being investigated by the FBI over unreported gifts from Warren Trepp, a military contractor...otherwise known as flagrant corruption. {http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/15/AR2007021501487.html} Trepp's software company was awarded millions in classified work during Gibbons' stint in Congress.

You may remember this piece of garbage when, during his campaign last year, cocktail waitress Chrissy Mazzeo accused him of assaulting her in a parking garage. {http://www.kesq.com/Global/story.asp?S=5604758&nav=9qrx} Well, that one rolled off him like water off a duck, but this latest scandal might prove too much; he just lawyered up. {http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2007/Mar-02-Fri-2007/news/12915721.html} Couldn't happen to a nicer bullying greedweasel who's unable to obey the law.

H. Franklin Cassell, sheriff of Henry County in Virginia, was arrested along with 12 current and former deputies; all were charged with racketeering, conspiracy, weapons violations, narcotics distribution, obstruction of justice and perjury. You see they had the brilliant idea of selling drugs which had been confiscated in police raids back to the community. {http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2006-11-02-sheriff-drugs_x.htm} The sheriff himself was quoted as saying the only way to get rich "is to be a little crooked and not get caught."

Well, he got the first part right, but couldn't quite manage the not getting caught part. He and 14 others are now in what is legally known as deep doo-doo.

Oops! Another crooked gay-hating pastor in Colorado has gotten nabbed. (This is an expansion of an earlier post on page 11; more facts have become available.) Rev. Don Armstrong, rector for Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, has been relieved of his command by the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado in January of this year for "possible misuse of church money" This is commonly known as stealing...and it is expressly forbidden by the Eighth Commandment. His church of 2500 members could rightly be called a mega-church and is often referred to as a "cardinal parish." Armstrong had been there for 19 years...until temptation overcame him. {http://www.newspeakblog.com/the_blog/2007/01/bahahahahaha_re.html}

And while we're talking wayward preachers, let us not forget Raymond Lambert, 51, of Grand Valley Independent Baptist Church who, with the ASSISTANCE OF HIS WIFE, Patty, has apparently been molesting young girls from his congregation for years. {http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14491888}

It gets even sicker. (You just knew it would, didn't you?) Patty Lambert's brothers, Paul Epling, 53, and Tom Epling, 51, are each accused of having sex with girls as young as FOUR YEARS OLD. All four defendants are facing molestation and sodomy charges. Vile, depraved people.

Congresswoman Heather Wilson, (R-NM), is accused of removing a working file alleging that her husband had engaged in inappropriate contact with a minor. {http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Congresswoman_on_page_board_buried_file_1019.html}Filed as a case of child abuse in 1993, it contends that he touched a 16-year-old boy in a "manner that was not welcome." Charges were never filed, but Wilson's behavior is--at the very least!--a conflict of interest. She originally denied removing the file to a TV news team, but in a press conference just days later, admitted her guilt. Oddly enough she was on the House Page Board while Mark "The Shark" Foley was trolling freely. Is anyone surprised?

And, just in case the ethically deficient Ms. Wilson's name seems oddly familiar, it's because she's standing right at ground zero of the burgeoning scandal of the fired US attorneys. Happy landings, Heather! {http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/012769.php}

Former US attorney and state Republican chairman Sam Currin, is facing a possible 43 years behind bars after pleading guilty to conspiring to launder more than a million dollars, lying on his tax returns and--in a related case--obstructing a grand jury investigation and conspiracy to withhold documents and provide false testimony. Remember, this sack of sewage used to be a US attorney. Also charged were tax attorney Ricky Graves, Howell Way Woltz and his wife Vernice Woltz, president and a director of sterling Trust in the Bahamas. Trust. Yeah, right. {http://www.newsobserver.com/114/story/505443.html}

Lester Crawford, former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration has pleaded guilty to failing to disclose owning shared in companies HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REGULATING. Can you say "blatant conflict of interest?" {http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/101706B.shtml} This presidential appointee had been under the Justice Department microscope ever since he stepped down just two months after his confirmation by the then-Republican Senate. That's the kind of oversight THEY did: None to speak of.

Nashua, New Hampshire executive councilman Raymond Burton was called upon by three of his fellow council members to resign owing to his repeated hiring of one Mark Seidensticker, 45, a man with a looooong record as a child sex offender. His rap sheet, dating back more than a decade, included convictions for attempted sexual assault, indecent exposure and failure to register as a sex offender. Now, it is unlikely in the extreme that all of these things were unknown to Burton. He fired Seidensticker...but refused to step down himself. {http://www.webarchive.unionleader.com/articles_showa.html?article=63301}

I'm not sure whether I've logged this one previously or not. It seems somehow like deja vu...but, then, there is a certain predictable sameness to all of this Republican perversion and hypocrisy so I cannot be sure. I add it here for the sake of completeness. Randall Casseday, 53, director of human resources at the Moonie Washington Times, (!) was charged in September of last year with attempting to entice a minor on the Internets. {http://www.washingtontimes.com/metro/20060927-054303-9103r.htm} Unfortunately fir him, he had actually exchanged sexually explicit messages and pfotographs with...a male undercover police officer. He's arranged to meet with the "13-year-old girl" and was met instead by officers of the Internet Crimes Against Children task Force. Yay for the Good Guys!! (Do you think Sun Myung Moon approves of this salacious behavior?)

More to come...
