If you're looking for a Democratic volunteer opportunity, All Things Democrat is seeking a Lead Blogger to begin asap.

The Lead Blogger will assist in recruiting 3-4 additional volunteer bloggers, lead the team of bloggers, and function as the primary blogger. The Lead Blogger will be the primary contact person for the blog when communicating with Democratic Party officials, candidates and staff, and other story sources.

This would be an ideal position for a college student majoring in political science, journalism, history or business. However, college or high-school students with good writing skills and an interest in helping Democrats would also be good candidates.

For someone who intends to have a career in politics, this is a position that will make your resume stand-out.
