The Superpower's War On Syria
`
`
26 April 2005
Iraqi Resistance Report
US sending 3,000 more troops to
al-Anbar Province
`
The backgound--
`
The western border of al-Anbar
province = part of the western
border of Iraq.
`
The western border of al-Anbar
province = part of the border
between Iraq and Syria.
`
`
The report--
`
US sending 3,000 more troops to
al-Anbar Province due to sharp
rise in Resistance activity.
`
[Is that the only reason?]
`
The US military ordered 3,000
additional American troops be
deployed to al-Anbar Province
in western Iraq in order to
bolster the “security” of the
American invader troops already
there, according to a press
statement issued by several US
commanders in Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat
al-Islam reported General David
Jan as saying, “the aim of send-
ing 3,000 troops is to make the
province more secure, particu-
larly after the intensification
of military operations there.”
`
The general said, “a large part
of the Iraqi puppet forces will
be withdrawn from that province
because they are not yet capa-
ble of taking on these hot pro-
vinces in which the Insurgents
as he called the Iraqi Resis-
tance fighers are concentrated.”
`
Asked how many US troops are in
al-Anbar, the General said that
at present a third of US forces
in Iraq are in al-Ambar. He at-
tributed that to the fact that
it is Iraq’s largest province
and to the intensity of milita-
ry operations there.
`
[1/3 of The Superpower's troops
are ALREADY in al-Anbar. The
western border of al-Anbar pro-
vince = part of the border be-
tween Iraq and Syria. The Su-
power has ordered 3 000 MORE
troops into al-Anbar.]
`
`
The report continues--
`
Massive US column 20km long
heads west into al-Anbar Pro-
vince.
In a report posted at 5:40pm
Mecca time Tuesday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that
a short while before massive
US columns, in all 20km long,
backed by fighter aircraft and
helicopters, set out towards
al-Anbar Province along Highway
1, the international highway
through Abu Ghurayb.
`
The correspondents for Mafkar-
at al-Islam in Abu Ghurayb, in
the adh-Dhahab al-Abyad area,
and in al-Karmah east of al-
Fallujah reported seeing troop
transports, armored vehicles,
Humvees and other types of
vehicle never yet seen in al-
Anbar in the column. Roads
were closed for the American
column to pass as many heli-
copters prowled the skies
above trying to prevent Re-
sistance ambushes along the
way.
`
[Other types of vehicle never
yet seen in al-Anbar...]
`
`
The report continues--
`
As of the time of reporting,
the correspondents noted that
the Resistance had not mount-
ed any attacks on the massive
columns.
`
`
A scenario--
`
If Superpower troops attack
Syria, the 40,000 Syrian
troops just returned from
Lebanon will reinforce the
Syrian counterattack.
`
When Superpower troops flee.
Iraqi insurgents will harass
them, then attack in force.
