Canada Helps Salehi
Tehran Times July 23d selectively quotes from the previous day's Vancouver Sun article "As the U.S., allies depart, Iran courts Afghanistan."
From the Sun's opinion piece by Jonathan Manthorpe:
"Twice in the last month, Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari has been an honoured guest in Tehran, where the hospitality has gone hand in hand with substantive talks about future economic, political and security cooperation.
"At the same time, Tehran is overcoming previously difficult relations with Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai, whose political authority can no longer depend on his own majority Pashtun tribe and requires the involvement of several other tribes with links to Iran."
Canada is helping The Superpower wage all-out war against the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Naturally, it's pleased that Iran is buddying up to the Superpower's puppet regime in Afghanistan.
Canada's not at war with Pakistan, but The Superpower has subverted Pakistan to the status of puppet --and Canada is pleased that Iran is buddying up to subverted Pakistan.
The Superpower doesn't want to be caught dead praising Iran for its treachery --so it makes arrangements for the Sun's experienced foreign affairs expert to do so.
This no-praise praise from abroad is used by the Salehi deviationists to defend their treachery. See, foreigners understand our tactics! See, the foreigners are afraid!
See, Tehran Times proves itself useful to us by publicizing the conveniently-timed opinion piece by the Sun's expert!
Warmed-over shenanigans cannot conceal political treachery:
Iran is buddying up to Superpower puppet Afghanistan
Iran is buddying up to Superpower puppet Iraq
Iran is buddying up to Superpower puppet Pakistan.
This buddying up serves the policy of:
Iranian expansion rather than the policy of Islamic revolution
Iranian detente with The Superpower rather than the policy of Islamic revolution
Iranian peaceful coexistence with Superpower puppet Israel rather than the policy of Islamic revolution.
What else does such a policy dictate?
Buddying up to The Superpower's NATO followers by
[1] claiming their puppet counter-revolutionaries in Libya are part of the Islamic Awakening
[2] talking up a fake peace plan under Algerian [= French] guidance.
Sending condolences for traitor Karzai.
