How about a "sticky" thread dedicated to polls on Iraq, Aghanistan, etc.?

Here's a polling organization that keeps a web page going on American opinions on progress (or lack there of) in Iraq.

Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg Poll. Jan. 18-22, 2008. N=1,312 registered voters nationwide. MoE ± 3 (for all registered voters).

"In your opinion, should the United States withdraw troops from Iraq right away, or should the U.S. begin bringing troops home within the next year, or should troops stay in Iraq for as long as it takes to win the war?"

Of all registered voters, 20% say do it immediately, and 43% say do it within a year. That's 63% of that thought. And that mirrors the percentage of people who oppose the US war in Iraq.
