i think the key here cath is when you look at countries like somalia, you need to ask yourself the question perhaps what type of natural resources are there within it's borders that would compell a country like the u.s. to take an interest in it?

i've read some interesting articles about some major oil corporations who've spent huge chunks of cash in speculation/exploration of potential oil reserves that are supposedly readily available in somalia. i don't have links available right now but i'm betting if anyone googles somalia-potential oil reserves you'll be able to peruse some of the info i read.

it's not too hard to surmise why we would be interested in somalia. it's the elite need of the miliary industrial complex to continually quench it's greed/thirst for any/all resources available on the face of this planet. those who are in control of all of the resources control most of all of trhe money. thoise who control most/all of the money have all/most of the political power to rule/dominate everyone else at thier pleasure.

we are the fodder/pawns at the bottom of the eco ladder who are here to expendably serve thier interests.

any forays into africa after iraq aren't for humanitarian reasons.....period.

The Bushies don't know the meaning of the word "humanitarian." Iraq wasn't for humanitarian reasons, and neither is this so-called "war on terror" regardless of where it's waged. All it's doing is increasing terrorism, and those who still support the Bushies like that idea...makes them feel TOUGH!
