There has been a lot of talk about Democrats voting for John McCain in the general election, if they don't get their preferred candidate. Asinine people on both sides have said they will vote for McCain if their particular Democratic candidate does not win the nomination.

Ever since Kucinich and Edwards left the race, I have been shopping for the super-sized clothespin I will need to vote for the eventual Dem candidate. It just needs to be more heavy duty for Clinton than Obama.

I would NEVER VOTE for McCain or Nader. My vote will go to the Democratic candidate. I will probably feel very nostalgic as I go to my polling place, wishing I could see Edwards' name on the ballot...or Al Gore, or Dennis Kucinich.

AND it looks like my state of NC is leaning towards Obama, even though our primary won't be held until May:

I guess what I failed to say in my first reply was just this; I would be voting for Kucinich or Edwards, with another Dem I would be voting against McSame.

Ya, what they all said. I'd just as soon shoot myself in the face than vote for McCain. Hell, I've already explained to my 7 year old that he would be the same as Bush and I've totally alienated my neighbors because I almost had a heart attack when she said they voted for McCain in the primary. NO FREAKING WAY. We do not need Bush in office for 4 more years. (Plus, if I cannot have my choice candidate -- Kucinich -- then I will vote for anyone OTHER than McCain) Obama is my choice, I don't see Hillary getting it unless she does on a technicality, then I will vote for her election stealing ass and hate myself in the morning.

Poll: Obama Takes Lead in Pennsylvania

A new poll shows Barack Obama taking a lead over Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania for the first time. His two-point advantage marks a shift of 28 points from the last Public Policy Polling survey, which was conducted just before Obama’s race speech. Other polls show Clinton holding a lead, though by diminishing margins.

CLINTON BACKER DISTRIBUTES ESSAY ON HOW GOP WOULD LINK OBAMA TO 70s RADICALS

A high-ranking labor supporter of Hillary Clinton is distributing
to union leaders and to Democratic strategists a document detailing the
radical activities of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, two former members of the '70s group the Weather Underground, who decades later, in Chicago,
crossed paths with Barack Obama.

The document - a three-page emailed essay by Rick Sloan,
communications director for the International Association of Machinists as
Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) -- takes both literary and political license to
outline what Sloan believes would be the thrust of a hypothetical
Republican campaign against Obama focusing on his tangential connection to Ayers and Dohrn.

The goal of the essay appears to be to discredit Obama as the
prospective Democratic presidential nominee.
