SOMETHING TO REMEMBER THIS ELECTION YEAR...The quote below was authored by Mr. Bob Grove, of North Carolina, and I think it's something that we can all take to heart and use to help us decide who to vote for on November 6:
When it’s your turn to cast your ballot in the most important election of a generation, remember these two tenets:
1. Not all Republicans or all Democrats are either good or bad. Political office attracts both benevolent statesmen and self-serving narcissists. Vote for the candidate by his/her record, not political affiliation.
2. We are strong because of ethnic mix, not racial purity. Our land was discovered by a Portuguese explorer, named after an Italian navigator, claimed by the British Crown, and populated by immigrants.
