I wish to convey my heartfelt thanks to the developers and editors at TVNEWSLIES. Whatever the outcome of this historic presidential election, I want you to know, and anyone reading this to know, that I have learned so much from having come to this forum. I had no idea the media were so biased because I had a great trust of our American news sources. TVNL showed me the way, and for that I wish to say a big THANK YOU for being online at this crucial juncture of our nation's history. We have lived history together, talked it over, argued about it, but in the end, we have emerged as friends.
Without TVNL, I would not have learned HOW to watch the news. Without TVNL, I would not have met the founders of the site itself and had some great chats with them. Nor would I have met good, hard-working people like Real Democrat, carly, tapirlover, beatneck, skeeter, tres (who makes me laugh with the political cartoons he posts), and all of the other posters who have taken the time to try to spread the word about the dangers of the Bush administration.
Hopefully, we'll all be raising our victory glasses of good champagne tomorrow night or sometime Wednesday, toasting President-elect John Kerry and Vice-President-elect John Edwards.
Even if that doesn't happen, my glass will still be raised in a toast to all of you. And we will meet again after the election.
All the best,
Catherine
