RD,

Kerry WILL defeat Bush IF he does several things quickly and decidedly:

1. His running mate MUST be someone who is charismatic, smart, trustworthy, and articulate. ALL of these attributes are essential in order to provide a glaring contrast to the Bush-Cheney team. In other words, we have a clear and better choice...all we have to do is vote them into office.

2. Kerry MUST provide a sound message of aggressive honesty, integrity, and give America a concise plan to get out of Iraq within a reasonable amount of time.

This can be done IF he mends fences with those allies Bush as alienated with his stupidity and arrogance. If Kerry can't mend the fences immediately, the American people must know he's working on it...Kerry is going to have a tremendous diplomatic chasm to get over that's been created by this corrupt administration. He's up to the task, especially if his VP is given the opportunity to help out.

His Cabinet must be chosen very carefully...perhaps it wouldn't hurt to parade in front of us some of his possible choices for certain offices (sec. of defense, sec. of state, etc...) even during the campaign.

He must also have a good economic plan. Biggest things are his VP, and his plan for getting out of Iraq without abandoning the country and its people. THAT'S going to be the biggie, I think...

Also, how he does in the debates will be a factor.

I could go on...but I've got other things to do. :)

Well Marine Sniper, things in general don't always work out as they are planned. That's just the way life is. As they say, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. They also say, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. 8)
