This is the "thin-line" difference: You have slavery and you have chattel slavery.
Slavery can be defined as servitude to a master. One can be an indentured servant and be treated with honor.
Chattel slavey is the human being becoming the sole property of another without having any human rights.
Chattel slavery is the type of slavery that was practiced in America; for as about as many years as America is old.
Black people in America and wherever this type of slavery was used by Europeans and Americans alike, were treated like cattle or worst. Everybody else would call these war crimes. The atrocities that were inflicted on black people during this three hundred ten (310) years of chattel slavery were the worst to be applied on any people in the history of the world as we know it.
All black people have subsequently:
1. Lost their original language
2. Lost their orginal names
3. Lost the knowledge of who they are.
Talk about idenity theft.
