George Stephanopoulos says that his sources in the Republican party concede that they'll most likely lose control of the House to the Democrats. But Republican strategists appear more certain that they will retain control of the Senate.

Kyahoga County in Ohio was getting ready to close at 7:30 pm (9 minutes ago) and the democrats WON the right to force them to remain open until 9:30 due to problems in the am. The Diebold machines were not working properly so many people stood in line for over an hour and left to go to work without voting. Now they get the chance to go back and vote in the pm.

That's good....oh..I'll bet the Repubs are ANGRY...especially Blackwell.

Strickland must have been winning by such a HUGE lead that Blackwell conceded very early. He (Blackwell) was probably promised a position in the white house for handing the election to Bush in '04.

Even though we worked hard for Heath, we never really dreamed he'd beat Charles Taylor, the incumbent who has been in the House for 16 corrupt years.

Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall at the White House tonight? Whee!

Last I heard Reynolds is ahead of Davis in our district. What saved Reynolds was that Oct. Fri 13th snowstorm. Every media outlet of every stripe went full strength pushing for Reynolds saying he has an 'in' in the WH. He will get us money.

Yup, now I believe Fri 13th is unlucky.
