TV newslies article:-SPAN’S SUBLIMINAL SEDUCTION
HOW WASHINGTON JOURNAL HELPS FIX THE ELECTION

http://www.tvnewslies.org/html/c-span_deception.html

Cannot believe this is the only place that even mentioned this phenomenon. Anyone have thoughts on what to do about it?

Welcome to the board. I wrote that article. I am stunned at how many obvious things are going on with the media that nobody else seems to notice. That is why I stopped working to start this site!

I am working on a few projects to help bring attention to these problems.

It is scary!
Welcome aboard!!!

I've watched Washington Journal since Clinton first started running in 91. Now it's painful to watch the Washington Times be quoted and its editorials the subject of so many of their call-in questions.

I'm guessing that the satellite and cable companies would drop C-Span in a minute if they were to challenge the establishment (Big Corps).

I wonder if there really is autonomy or is Brian Lamb buckling under.

We must find a way to challenge this.

I can't count how many callers have mentioned this and were brushed off by the moderator.

Thanks, Richard

The way to battle this is with information and education. We have to call attention to the relentless onslaught of thought control in our media. The problem is that much of the nation is too stupid to understand. I don't say that to be mean, I say that as a fact.

BTW - Brooklyn has/had some great people!!!

With Washington Journal being the ONLY program of its kind, I feel strongly that this is a very important battle to fight. I'd be interested in what might be done to change their policies.

adworkx, besides TVNL, here are a couple of other sites that are dedicated to watching and revealing the bias of the media:

www.takebackthemedia.net

www.mediamatters.org

I completely agree with Jesse that the nation is too stupid to understand many things about the workings of the media and, even more importantly, they are too stupid and too complacent to fully understand government function.

The majority of the nation knows more about football or the affairs of Jennifer Lopez than they do about politics and how their own government works. And in our schools, history, civics, and political science have become almost lost subjects. Often they are taught by incompetent, under-qualified personnel, which usually results in the subject being presented in a way that certainly doesn't make a student want to learn more on his own.

If we are to understand where our country and its government are going, we've got to know something about the evolution of both.

Catherine
