This is a very, very interesting science experiment. I think that I may have to verify it just for shits and giggles.

Hello.

If you heat water on a stove top then feed boiling hot water to a plant it will also die.

It is not rocket science.

It says "after cooling". She purified the water by boiling it on the stove and boiling in the microwave then letting it "cool down" before using. The whole experiment was to see if there is any difference between microwaving and using the stovetop method.

Reading the directions isn't rocket science either!

hmmm.......adding boiling water to a plant isn't "rocket science", but reading comprehension might be a required part of being a rocket scientist.

Looks like a good science experiment for my son to try sometime. Every time I heat something in the microwave now I wonder about it.
