i could care less about organized religion, for lots of reasons. this is a lot like other gods, e.g. some christian versions,..specifically,where we have the disparity between being merciful and yet bringing down wrath on those who go astray, etc...

for me, religion is apersonal matter that resides in the mind of each person, and not something that is prescribed by others as to what is and is not true. just be nice to everyone, no more complicated than that to me. be good.

The last sentence in your second paragraph makes a lot of sense. So tell when those who do not do good, what should happen to them?

There has to be disparity when there is such a thin line between good and bad.
