I went to the women in war conference here in Syracuse where some of the greatest female intellectuals in the US gathered to discuss womens roles in war, and the effects it has on them. I must say it was amazing. I could go on all day about how much I learned and how i met Angela Davis! I will say though, i was very disappointed that such a grand event wasn't even mentioned on the local news (almost 500 were in attendance at this 3 day event) yet they found time to do a story about alpacas.

At least you are well aware of the prejudices of local media...

We welcome the guys in here once in awhile, greenie, or else they sneak in and start to chat no matter what! It's not a problem, though, because we like all the TVNL fellows! We share our space with them.

Regarding the meeting you went to, it might be time for a letter to your newspapers about this..but 500 people might also be upset about no coverage and will also help get the word out.

One thing everyone can do to help is talk about/reference our TVNL site, which is dedicated to exposing so much about the bias of the "liberal" media.
