Western Washington is still reeling from last week's floodwaters, and snowfall in the Cascades indicates the region might have some minor flooding still in store, weather officials said Monday.
A strong winter storm left about 15 inches of snow on the Cascades at Snoqualmie and Stevens passes Monday, and a blustery weather front anticipated Wednesday could push snow levels down to 7,500 feet, the National Weather Service said.
That would create melting and flooding in Western Washington, most likely in areas that were hard hit during last week's torrential rain.

The Seattle area is looking at record levels of rainfall this month: 11.17 inches of rainfall has been measured at Sea-Tac Airport so far, and the region could soon break the 1998 record rainfall of 11.62 inches.
