Just a personal observation: Can we rename this thread to Deceptive Reporting? Not all propaganda is rightwing, and I do want fair and balanced reporting in America, not Yellow Journalism in any of its many deceptive forms (lies, fraud, misleading, half-truths, mis-quotes, out-of-context, slanted, non-reporting, secrecy, laziness, etc)

The AIPAC in the Democrat Party is a perfect example of leftwing propaganda... non-reporting & secrecy.

Very good point, Yank. Maybe we could vote on it in the AC.

I agree also. Propaganda is not good, no matter where on the spectrum it comes from.

Should we remove the word "Rightwing?"

Since propaganda is more than just a rightwing phenomenon, it would be an improvement.

Drop the rightwing.

Well, everybody already knows my thoughts on the subject :| ...both many GOP and Dems are AIPAC toadies, and the press is bought by AIPAC too , via Rupert Murdoch and others:

Please remove the "rightwing" designation... that in itself is misleading :? . Propaganda IS propaganda by any other name :!: .

I agree! There was a time when people thought it might it take a turn for the better, but it hasn't happened. Most likely never will. Censoring or control of what can be said in media is all important to those who control the public mind. They are all in the same boat.

Protecting the internet has never been more important. Of course, it is the only thing they haven't been able to fully control.

I fee the same way -- The political party switch game is a joke. I didn't believe this for long time. It was a friend who pretty much convinced me. Politicians may have great ideas and etc, but they never do what they say, because they can't do what they say or promised. Little things maybe, but nothing important. Honest politics or a decent political system in the USA and others Countries, fell under the heel of money and power a long time ago. If there ever was such a thing as honest politics? My cousin who is religious, calls it control of mammon. Just another name for money. Our Governments are puppets. The political system is corrupt. The media is controlled and censored. People need to wake up and defend their liberty / freedoms. What we need to do, is try and wake them up. I just hope we have time, cause I've been told that freedom will be totally gone after another coup d' etat if people allow it. Education is important!
