My husband and I were given a holiday gift of monthly coffee deliveries.
Today, we received the February offerings:
One pound each of Guatemala Atitlan Full City Roast and Ethiopean Mocca.
The aroma that came out of the box when I opened it was incredible. A little newsletter, included in the box, says that the Guatemala Atitlan Full City Roast is from the Lake Atitlan region of west central Guatemala. The lake is surrounded by three spectacular volcanoes and volcanic soil is known to produce exceptional coffees. The coffee is rich, full-bodied with a vibrant acidity. The roast is full city and the flavor and the aroma are captivating.
As for the Ethiopean Mocca.....it's grown high at elevations starting at 4,000 feet above sea level. Moccas are not flavored in any way, but they naturally possess chocolate overtones that make them irresistably rich and flavorful. The coffee is grown on small farms and in shade.
I'll let you know how they actually taste!
