In 2004 there was ample evidence that 9/11 was an inside job.
Why haven't the Democrats taken advantage of this to seize the 2004 election?
Why haven't they asked the tough questions?

And even now, why is 9/11 not re-investigated, as so many American citizens demand?
Are they too complicit in the cover-up?
I can't find anything in the main stream media on this subject.

You say you're "just being curious." Good for you and keep on being so.

My answer to that would be: Because the Dems are part of the Establishment. Not each and every single Dem (just as not each and every Rep) is 'in' on it, but the Party machinery which sets the agendas and keeps the rank-and-file in line. The Reps and Dems are the Mainstream Party, and just like the MSM, do--more or less--the bidding of the Ruling Elite (mega-wealthy Banksters and Corporations). Really, when you get right down to it, there is little difference between the 'two' major partys. Niether respects the Constitution (though it seems there are a few Reps who do), or the principles of Liberty.

I am not an American citizen but I have studied 9/11 for over 3 years now.
It is not jiust in the US that 9/11 is being misrepresented in the media. In Europe the same thing is happening. When you ask critical questions about 9/11 in the media overhere, people, editors and so-called journalists will accuse you of being a crackpot or a conspiracy theorist.
All the real news has to be gathered on the web.

To Sammy: I think you are right that a few elite persons are calling the shots in the US. I think these persons are the same persons who own the Federal Reserve Bank. And I am absolutely amazed by the fact that the majority of Americans citizens do not know that The Federal Reserve Bank is a PRIVATE BANK! This bank is as federal as for instance Federal Express. So, I too believe that here you will find the root of all evil. Here you will find the persons responsible for turning the US in a police state, bordering fascism.

The Bill of Rights has been reduced to a list of suggestions.

Freedom does not come cheap. You have to be willing to fight for it everyday.

I have the impression that the tide is turning.
I sincerely believe that the truth will surface and that the elite people responsible, who obviously have overreached in their arrogance and intoxicated mood of total corruption will end up in jail.

If you want your freedom back, then you have to fight for the following:
-Nationalize the Federal Reserve Bank.
-Ask what happened to the gold resereve in Fort Knox
-Stop you subscriptions with the main stream media.
-Stop filing the fraudulent 1040 form to the IRS.
(The 16th Amendment did not give the government extra power to tax your labor. The Supreme Court has ruled it so. Income tax applies to companies only.)
-Reject the national ID
-Turn back the Patriot Act and all other Acts that have limited your freedom.
-CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE!!!

Think it's an excellent question . . . and I haven't really specifically thought about that.

Obviously, they have the ability to keep the cover-up going.

First -- and I think it is integral to the cover-up -- was closing our Congress for about three to six months right after 9/11 with the ANTHRAX antics. In fact, regular mail is still being irradiated before it gets delivered to Senators and Representatives -- about a three week delay!!

Obviously, many people were trying to contact Congress with information, documents, etc. Information and pressure to investigate 9/11 were short-circuited. Leahy certainly isn't a favorite of this White House--!!!
And, Dashle was often also doing them harm when he could.
We're lucky that neither was killed at that time.

Second -- the "independent" commission turned out to be not quite independent and, in fact, a meaningless sham. So they succeeded in putting people in place -- Lee Hamilton is a Democrat who has helped them before with Iran-Contra and other issues -- Zelikow was obviously working for the White House in this cover-up.

But, finally you're question remains ....

Why have Democrats done so little -- ?

Do they feel threatened? That might be so?

I asked a question of someone who investigates the JFK assassination once why no one was following up on the statement by the Chairman of the 1992 JFK Record's Act Panel -- John Tunnheim -- that . . .

"Oswald was employed by the CIA and worked on high level assignments and probably also for the FBI."
