Hi everyone!

Wondered if anyone has any suggestions. I tend to always use a nail hardener / strengthener as otherwise my nails are very weak.

Anyway, for some time now, my nails have had a yellow colour to them - more towards the top than the bottom. Could this be from the hardener I use as I've heard that nail polish can stain nails, could nail hardener do the same?

Or is there anything else it could be?

Hi, MerryA...

Welcome to TV NEWS LIES....thanks for registering.

Here is a site that might answer your questions:

Hope this helps...when in doubt about your health, though, always consult a doctor.

Welcome MerryA!

Yellow nails could be from stain, fungus, liver problems, or just plain eating too many carrots. Always check with your doctor.

Catherine, you really know how to look up information!

:P I'm always running to webmd to check out this or that pain or twinge. At my age, twinges and little pains can't be shrugged off as often as they were in the past. :P

Yellow nails can indicate internal disorders long before other symptoms appear. Some of these are problems with the lymphatic system, respiratory disorders, diabetes, and liver disorders...
