APL, what do you think of this report?

WINDOW FROM WHICH JFK KILLED NETS $3M

The window and frame through which Lee Harvey Oswald shot and killed former US president John F Kennedy was sold on auction site Ebay for more than 3 million dollars on Friday.

The piece was being auctioned by Caruth Byrd, whose family owned the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas, where, from the sixth floor, Oswald fired the shots that killed JFK on November 22, 1963
.

What a hoot.

I've never been convinced that Oswald fired those shots that killed President Kennedy.

At the link, be sure to read the comments. They're very, very interesting.

I find this absurd in the utmost. First, there is no way I can ever be convinced that Oswald acted alone even if he was part of the assassination. There is at a minimum two shooters. In addition, I believe one of the shots was "friendly fire" from a Secret Service guy arming himself further back in the motorcade. The "magic bullet" was a plant from the very beginning. Three million dollars for a window frame that may or may be the source for the killing shot sounds like the buyer is another person with just too much money and no real sense of history.

Agreed, APL! Have you seen the DVDs entitled "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" ? They're good, and offer up a plethra of possible and plausible assassins.

New film released shows JFK motorcade ninety seconds before assassination

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, TX is releasing a newly found color film which shows President John F. Kennedy's motorcade ninety seconds before the president was assassinated in November of 1963.

The museum provides the following description with the film:

"This newly-discovered home movie of the fateful Kennedy motorcade was recently donated to The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The photographer, George Jefferies, filmed President and Mrs. Kennedy on Main Street at Lamar in downtown Dallas less than 90 seconds before the assassination. Secret Service agent Clint Hill, assigned to protect Jackie Kennedy, can be seen riding on the left rear bumper. The donor, Wayne Graham, is the son-in-law of Mr. Jefferies."

Note that when the BREAKING NEWS report from MSNBC flashes on the screen, the info says "JRK, JR Assassination...."

Somebody at MSNBC was sure eager to BREAK this report! You'd think they'd do a better job of proof-reading something as historical as this is...and the film is very, very good...color, focus, etc. It's almost as good as the Zapruder film, although it's not showing the actual moment of assassination.

This is what Jesse wrote on his blog about that short clip.
http://tvnewslies.org/blog
Quote:
TVNL Editor's Comments: So You Still Think Major Government Conspiracies Don’t Exist?

Yesterday new footage of JFK was released to the public. This footage is yet another indication that the US government was most likely involved in the assassination. This film shows, as does many others, a Secret Service agent riding on the back of JFK’s limo and it shows two motorcycle police escorts riding along side the car, just behind JFK. Other films clearly show the head of the Secret Service calling back the agent just as the car was turning into the plaza where the fatal shots were fired. One of the agents called back shrugged his arms in disbelief three times when he was told to leave JFK’s car and retreat to the next car in the convoy. The rest of us should be shrugging our arms in disbelief that this happened.

Has this action by the head of the Secret Service ever been explained to the public? Is there an explanation that would account for this action?

Ten years after the Warren Commission issued the official white wash report, Congress held a new investigation into the assassination and they determined that there was at least one other shooter and that there was indeed a conspiracy to kill JFK yet the official story remains the same. Hello! Is anyone paying attention!

Between 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq we have conspiracies with a million times more evidence than we had regarding the JFK assassination, and people continue to disbelieve that conspiracies of this magnitude can take place. They took place, they take place and they are taking place. It is up to you to make sure we recognize this clear and obvious fact! Think about it! – Jesse, Editor, TvNewsLIES.org

Scientists determine second JFK assassin 'possible'

A research team that includes a former top FBI scientist is challenging the bullet analysis used by the government to conclude that Lee Harvey Oswald alone shot the two bullets that struck and killed President John F. Kennedy in 1963," Thursday's Washington Post reports.

"The 'evidence used to rule out a second assassin is fundamentally flawed,' concludes a new article in the Annals of Applied Statistics written by former FBI lab metallurgist William A. Tobin and Texas A&M University researchers Cliff Spiegelman and William D. James," John Solomon writes for the Post.

The article continues, "The researchers' re-analysis involved new statistical calculations and a modern chemical analysis of bullets from the same batch Oswald is purported to have used. They reached no conclusion about whether more than one gunman was involved, but urged that authorities conduct a new and complete forensic re-analysis of the five bullet fragments left from the assassination in Dallas."

Remember Mark Fuhrman? He was the guy who found the gloves and drops of blood that were used as evidence in the O.J. Simpson murder trial. Anyway, he wrote a book on the JFK Assassination. He says that Oswald did it all by his little ol'self.

A Simple Act of Murder: November 22, 1963
http://www.amazon.com/Simple-Act-Murder ... 0060721545

I read a book by a sniper who wrote he could not have done it from Oswald's location, even with his own sniper rifle. He went there and looked. He called the plaza a "Kill Zone". Meaning more then one shooter and (if I remember correctly) most likely a triangle pattern of shooters.

Mark Fuhrman...what a yutz. He did think he knew everything, didn't he!

I believe sharpshooters tried to imitate a single shooter shooting from that window, and couldn't do it. If sharpshooters couldn't do it, I doubt Oswald could.

So many secrets to which we shall never know the answers...

Oh yeah .. yutz is right Dori. I could add a few more and some comments, but don't want to change the thread.

I agree.

True .. What we should be asking is why and who stood to gain from JFK's assassination? No matter who pulled the triggers. Remember his quote about freedom being taken away? I'll add it below.

"The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the American's freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight."

John F. Kennedy (10 days before his assassination)

What is odd, is JFK's Dad (A supposed mafia man) made a killing during the stock market crash of the 1930's. I've read his holdings jumped from 50 million to around 400 million. The word had be put out (to some) that the stock market was going to crash and many took advantage of this prior knowledge. They got out and put there holdings in Gold and etc. They made a killing. Seems JFK wasn't much like dear old dad!

I have no idea what Joe, the Kennedy boy groomed to be President was like, but the other Kennedy boys care about us 'little people'. There is little legislation aimed at helping the poor (a word never used in politics anymore) that doesn't have Ted Kennedy's fingerprints on it.

Just like the Pope who wanted to reform the church was suddenly gone, anyone in government who truly wants to clean up government disappears too.

The Kennedy assassination was a masterpiece of subterfuge. Many great people have met the same fate, all masterpieces of subterfuge.

Evil people accomplish their goals. Most people don't question the answers given them.

Does the term CIA mean anything?
