So Longfellow wrote a story,left out parts of history, and embellished to make it more apealling.
Sounds like modern day journalism.
Clarity isn't my best trait.
The point I was trying to make with my post of Paul Revere's Ride [which best fit what I was trying to say] and the accompanying image is, The people of this country faught the invaders within the country before, and I think it's time again before it's too late if not already. It wasn't about celebrating the 4th of July which like most holidays was formed to make money, not celebrate their meaning.
Unfortunately the current invaders have the backing of the goberment, mass distorted media aimed at us that most don't really give a crap about to begin with. They know we have other things to do like work,sleep,eat and do it all again day after day just to survive, that consumes our time/life.
The only way there will ever be another Revolution in this country is if all television, media and computers go down, and people have nothing else to do. When/If it does happen [And we know that's not going too happen any time soon] it will be to late.
I wonder when time passes if people in the future will look back and say, I feel bad and am sorry for what happened to them, Just as I feel when I look back about the true indigenous people of this land way before the revolution.
