As for Hitler, he wasn't the brightest person in the world. The Russians wanted to team up with him, but he wanted the 'purity' of the German race to remain untouched. Hitler didn't believe in sharing the spoils of war either. Imagine what would have happened if he had been a more strategic thinker.

President Bush has the Democrats' number on Capitol Hill. All he has to do is play the fear card and invoke the war on terror and they will cave.

What's more, the president has found out that he can break the law and the rubber stamp Democratic Congress will give him a pass every time.

The fear of being branded "soft on terrorism" was enough to make the Democrats capitulate once again to the Bush administration's demands. Or was it simply a looming vacation and beckoning campaign travel that led them to desert the nation's capital after giving the National Security Agency the power to expand its eavesdropping program without a warrant.

But Helen, it wasn't 'the Democrats' it was the Blue Dogs. Blue Dogs are yesterday's Republicans.

And meanwhile Bush and his followers are smirking because they have found a dividing issue--their target all along was to divide the Dems.

I truly love peace, not war.

Everybody wins in peace and all lose in war.

But, I for one - will be a first to go to the front of the line to protect my freedoms - my family and my birthright.

The old days have proven to be quite sucessful. But when is enough - enough??

Everyone needs to ask themselves - just what can I do - then get off their rumps and start someplace.

I write my letters - I make my phone calls. Usually with no results.

Letters to the editorials never get published. I surmise the stupid reporters DO NOT like reading truths or is it because they are afraid they will be fired if they try to alert the public? Take your choice. How many still subscribe and fatten the coffers of the Republican Propogandists?

At least start somewhere - don't let them walk you to the ovens without trying something.

Programming, what can we do to wake them up? We gotta get up stand up, and start knocking heads together. No more does letter writing become our first line of defense. We know what we have to do, it's just a question of getting up and doing it.

Join a 911 group in your town, promote the candidate that nearest suits your realities, get out to meetings and call these people on their treachery. Whatever you can do to help- donate if you can't participate- these groups need money- organize fundrives to raise the money to get exposure- hang banners on freeways, make every 11th a protest day and especially get out on 911! and call meetings at your homes.

Do it because we have no other choice. No one else is going to do it for us.
