From the comments on rawstory:

Quote:
More manipulation and divisive low blow tactics by scumbag Republicans.

To the Fox Republicans who think that their party is not bigoted:

We have Senator Craig caught redhanded in fashioning a statement concerning his future plans that is a blatant lie. On the voicemail he mistakenly left on a stranger's answering machine, the Senator told his lawyer to say that it was his intent to resign. He said, however, that Senator Specter supported him not resigning and indicated he hoped to stay in office. Craig's statement that he intends to resign was far less honest than "I did not have sex with that woman" (in case you forget, Clinton's famous line). It's really hard to prove what someone's intent was - you know, what was in his or her heart of hearts. This fool Craig managed to record an admission directing his lawyer to lie for the world to hear. Somehow you don't seem to have any problem with this. I really don't understand how.

Also, the Fox Republican officials and politicians deep sixed Craig shortly after this scandal involving homosexuality emerged. In contrast, they are still huddling around Senator Vitter, a guy who didn't just get caught soliciting, but in fact did the dirty deed on his wife and family countless times, after he pontificated to us about the importance of family values and his wife chastised Hillary saying if she were Hillary she would have cut Bill's thingie off no less.

So let's review. Let's lay it out there for everyone. On the one hand we have Senator A caught soliciting one time. On the other hand we have a Senator B caught using a prostitute countless times. Both Senator A and B deny their actions and still get caught. What happens to Senator A who was merely soliciting sex once, when the sex was homosexual? Trashed and out. Adios bandejo. What happens to Senator B who is busted having sex all over the place with women prostitutes and more women prostitutes? Still there. No problemo.

Please tell me that after this blatantly prejudiced treatment of Senator A and all the anti-gay marriage, anti-gays in the military, tossing officials out of leadership positions when they come out of the closet (e.g. ex-Republican Party Chair Ken Mehlman) and all the other Fox Republican homophobic rhetoric, that the frops don't have a serious problem with homophobia. If somehow you don't think that, again I really don't understand how.

I think the FCC should require Fox to rename itself. It should be called the Fox Republican Lies Channel...

There are substantial differences in the knowledge levels of the audiences for different news outlets. However, there is no clear connection between news formats and what audiences know. Well-informed audiences come from cable (Daily Show/Colbert Report, O'Reilly Factor), the internet (especially major newspaper websites), broadcast TV (NewsHour with Jim Lehrer) and radio (NPR, Rush Limbaugh's program). The less informed audiences also frequent a mix of formats: broadcast television (network morning news shows, local news), cable (Fox News Channel), and the internet (online blogs where people discuss news events).

i absolutely HATE foxnoise.

think of the ad nauseum pukes who are over there, hannity, oreilly, niel cavuto with occasional appearences by harpi shills like laura ingram and the outright nazi bitch trans sexual ann coulter.

and this demented group of bootlicking assholes are supposed to be given some sort of credibility by the rest of credible journalists and political analysts?.................gimme a frickin break!

fauxnews has 1 important agenda that they seek to accomplish regardless f who or what stands in the way...............to make sure the neocon/nazi agenda of the far right wing of the repugs gets plenty of airtime.

adolf hitler would have absolutely LOVED to have had such a news org like fox at his disposal.

and the sad part is just like prewar germans did, todays american populace are drinking the koolaid in big gulps with no clues as to what they are swallowing as long as it tastes good. there are various poisons that have a fine palatable taste as well but intelligent humans steer clear. sheeple don't.

So this is how FAUX manages to keep some viewers!

Greenwald: Fox adds sexually explicit video into serious news stories

While many commentators on Fox News are ideologically opposed to cultural smut, Fox News finds a way to fit that same smut into many of their broadcasts. So says Robert Greenwald, whose new mini-documentary details Fox's misuse of sexually explicit video in their news programming.

"It seems consistent," he said on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann. "It certainly seems to be the pattern with [Fox President Roger] Ailes, who has taken every possible element of news and degraded it, degenerated it, and turned it into, in this case, smut. And if it is not smut, we see the right wing propaganda."
