Keith is usually spot-on in his comments about Bush and the damage he's done to the entire world, but mostly to the US and to Iraq.

Quote:
As he deceived the troops at Al-Asad Air Base yesterday with the tantalizing prospect that some of them might not have to risk being killed and might get to go home…

Mr. Bush probably did not know that, with his own words, he had already proved that he had been lying… is lying… will be lying.... about Iraq.

He presumably did not know, that there had already appeared those damning excerpts from Robert Draper's book "Dead Certain."

"I'm playing for October-November," Mr. Bush said to Draper.

That, evidently, is the time during which, he thinks he can sell us the real plan.

Which is, to quote him: "To get us in a position where the presidential candidates, will be comfortable about sustaining a presence."Comfortable" - that is - with saying about Iraq, again quoting the President, "stay... longer."

And there it is, Sir.

We've caught you.

Your goal is not to bring some troops home - maybe - if we let you have your way now;

Your goal is not to set the stage for eventual withdrawal;

You are, to use your own disrespectful, tone-deaf word, playing at getting the next Republican nominee to agree to jump into this bottomless pit with you, and take us with him, as we stay in Iraq for another year, and another, and another, and anon.

Sen. Biden, who isn't one of my favorite people, is at least standing up presently and saying Patraeus is DEAD FLAT WRONG on Iraq. Biden says Bush has no workable war plan:

Quote:
Biden contended that Bush's main strategy was to buy time and extend the troop presence in Iraq long enough to push the burden onto the next president, who takes office in January 2009, to fix the sectarian strife.

"This president has no plan — how to win and how to leave," Biden said.

i watch olbermann pretty much every night.

one of the few news programs worth watching on the msm.

and i kind of agree on how much of a price that he will need to pay or what might become of him if circumstances like martial law were to ever be implemented. my guess is he'll be rounded up and sent to a fema camp so fast i'll make his head spin.

but untill then his special comments are priceless breaths of fresh air that often help me to have a sliver of hope in the war against the fascist/propaganda machine over at foxnoise. to me they are the most heinious of any news org out there and are guilty of deliberate deception and outright lies.

keep hammerin kieth, i'm right there with you.

I agree perhaps we will be in the same internment camp. I can fly anywhere in America but I can not leave it. When I try I am denied entry into the next country. Is that inside out or what?

His 9/11 show from Ground Zero was good. That whole thing about how the first responders' health continues to suffer, while Rudy G. sits pretty claiming he was there as much as them. Whoo doggy.

And i like how he says this is day xxx since "Mission Accomplished".

[/url]

Not one to mince words, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann ripped into President Bush for beating the WWIII war drums about Iran months after the gist of the NIE report on Iran was known to the White House: “It is the nightmare scenario of political science fiction: a critical juncture in our history and ... a president manifestly unfit to serve, and behind him in the vice presidency, an unapologetic warmonger who has long been seeing a world visible only to himself.
