And just this morning Bush had something to say about how the Democrats are "more afraid" of pissing of moveon.org than the U.S. military. While Washington "he-shes" the situation, people are dying.
That video of handing the wad of cash to the ex-insurgent was shocking. I had the televised Petraeus briefing to Congress on the other day -- with the volume turned down, because it was such an obvious snow job. The level of detail in the localized corruption and globalized profiteering that's happening in Iraq today looks pretty overwhelming to me.
