Like nothing else in recent American history, the events of 911 polarize the populace. I usually toss smoke-ins in Boulder. This coming September 11th I will host a 911 Truth Rally from 5 to 6pm on the corner of Broadway & Canyon. Even the posting of the event on area calendars has been interesting. The Denver Post tossed it up immediately. Other paper's web sites have been about as fast. A notable exception has been the town's major (3 minute) rag, the Daily Camera. They'll post my smoke outs, but not this.

Thanks for dropping by again. We need the herbalizers here as well. Great idea combining smoke-ins with protests. Keeps the fuzz off balance wondering where to concentrate their efforts of crowd control. The crazies to the left or the stoners on the right!

I have heard that a large number of Americans live within a 100 mile radius of a nuclear dump site and that one way to help keep them smaller is by using Depleted Uranium as weapons- so we all get irradiated as it drifts around the world as well. Unclear about Nuclear? it's the best weapon we have against them and we should exploit it by bringing back the realities of what nuclear proliferation will do to our planet.

Getting bombed the wrong way. I prefer smoke to oblivion anyday. Lets get obliviated with smoke!

The 911 Truth Rally was successful, even with only about 40 attending. Most were young, the older participants parked with their signs on other corners of the intersection. Local 911 and peace groups largely avoided the scene as they did not what to associate with anti-prohibitionists. The young people made up for the small number with their high energy which they always show.
Boulder Police are an intelligent crew, by and large. I've tosses over a dozen smoke-ins in the last three years and they maintain a respectful distance.
