As for being an altar boy, chances are good. The scary thing is with the "liberalization" of the Catholic Church, it is now altar servers, with boys and girls both being eligible. This allows equal opportunity for the heterosexual pedophiles along with their twisted homosexual "brothers."

Well, not being religious myself, alter or altar...it's all the same to me, and I don't mind digs. I'm not perfect now nor was I when I was teaching. My kids always saw me as being as human as they were...and that was fun.

However...didn't you leave out the word "he" after the word 'know?' :P

But as for Rudy and his support for a pedophile priest, it doesn't surprise me. After all, he's a Republican.

Link: Poll: 41% of Americans unable to name any GOP candidates

The Pew Research Center has released a new poll showing that 41% of Americans responding are unable to come up with the names of any Republican presidential candidates without prompting. In contrast, only 19% are unable to name even one Democratic candidate.

According to the Pew report, "The Republicans' disengagement, if not disillusionment, with the campaign is borne out by the fact that many more Republicans are able to recall unprompted the names of Democratic frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama than can name Rudy Giuliani and other leading GOP candidates."

Hillary Clinton's name was offered unprompted by 78% of all respondents and Barack Obama's by 62%. However, no more than 45% came up with the name of GOP frontrunner Rudy Giuliani -- and even among Republicans the figure was only 57%.

Rudy G's judgement is called into question regarding his loyalty to Bernard Kerik. Would he do any better as POTUS? Probably not, and of course there was the current president wanting to appoint this same Kerik to head the DOHS! REPUBS...what morons!

Huckabee moving up fast as a republican favorite.

Little do the conservatives know, he's considered "... a member of the 'Christian left.' "

Quote:
...
So with the help of the magnificent FactCheck.org, let's take a look at Huckabee's financial record.

Huckabee claims to have cut taxes "almost 94 times" while Governor. (An odd construction, but whatever.) He adds that he saved "the people of Arkansas almost $380 million." That's true. Huckabee cut taxes 90 times from 1997 to 2005, reducing state revenues by $378 million.

But Huckabee also presided over 21 tax increases, none of which he mentions on the stump. And those tax increases totaled much more than $378 million. According to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, the "net tax increase under Huckabee's tenure was an estimated $505.1 million," adjusted for inflation.

Spending did go up under the Huckabee regime—the state budget was $10.4 billion in his first year as Governor (again, adjusted for inflation), while it was $15.6 billion in 2006. So he is, technically, a tax-and-spender. But Huckabee balanced the Arkansas state budget every year he was governor (balancing the budget is a requirement under Arkansas state law) and in the end, Huckabee had a positive effect on the state ledger: He faced a $200 million deficit in 2002, but ended his term with a $844.5 million surplus. That's a billion dollar turnaround, taxing-and-spending be damned.

Finally a Republican who calls it like it REALLY is!

I don't like him and I don't care for his views but I do agree with what he says about Faux News!

I love it. Thompson gets all whiny because he's not getting any air time on the only cable station that might give him half a chance.

Before Mitt Romney takes such a hard line against undocumented workers, he might try to find an American citizen willing to cut the grass at his suburban Boston home. For the second time in a year, the candidate has been caught employing undocumented immigrants by way of a landscaping company, which he has now fired.

While reading this story in the UK Telegraph about Huckabee being advised by the ultimate slimy political whore, Dick "in my hand" Morris, I came across this very disturbing item.

The Huckabee campaign slogan is "Faith. Family. Freedom".

What bothered me was the order in which Huckabee seems to have his priorities.

Giuliani: Military Action Against Iran Not Off the Table

Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani went on “Meet the Press” on Sunday to talk about his chances for winning the nomination (he’s ahead in some states) and his stance on several key issues, including the U.S.’s relations with Iran. It looks like he’s still siding with the hawks. When host Tim Russert read Giuliani passages from the recent NIE report and asked if the news about Iran’s nuclear program should remove the option of U.S. military action against Iran, Giuliani quickly said no

I am becoming more and more fearful that what is occurring on the Republican side is a search for a "machine" candidate. The PNACers and NeoCoNazis are trying to select which of these guys they will steal the election for. Rudy seems to have figured out that if he appears to be a Shrub clone then the machine will get him into the White House.

I think you are on to something APL. Sure looks like they are trying to pick another clone.

These people should be known as the appendix people. Worthless but can cause extreme trouble.

If only they were as easy as an appendix to remove.
