Nas some great graphs on the genocide in Palestine that America is helping to pay for- stuff like-
Quote:
The U.S. gives more than $7,023,288 per day to the Israeli government and military and gives no money to the Palestinians.
Now that sounds fair and balanced- if you support genocide!

Statistics
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the world’s major sources of instability. Americans are directly connected to this conflict, and increasingly imperiled by its devastation.

It is the goal of If Americans Knew to provide full and accurate information on this critical issue, and on our power – and duty – to bring a resolution.

Below are charts of nine little-known statistics.

The sad thing is, DO.g's, most people don't want to know the truth. That is why media gets away with lying to us.

Thank you for the resource.

Israeli Public Opposes Attacking Iran

The Israeli government has been decidedly hawkish about Iran’s alleged nuclear weapons program, even after the NIE report suggested there isn’t one. The Israeli people, on the other hand, have taken a more enlightened view: According to a new poll, roughly two-thirds oppose a unilateral attack on Iran.

Sounds as though the Israeli people are in the same boat we on the left in America are. A government that does not represent them...

Now, it's the GAYS that are causing all those earthquakes! :P

Quote:
A member of Israel’s parliament has an unusual explanation for the recent spate of earthquakes in his country: It’s the gays! Specifically, says Orthodox lawmaker Shlomo Benizri, the Israeli government’s acceptance of and tolerance toward homosexuals have incurred God’s wrath in the form of tectonic rumblers.

The Israeli government is run by ex-generals. Their nostrils flare at the smell of gunpowder and cordite.

70% of the Israeli politicos are ex-generals. I am still looking for a peaceful Israeli leader to add to my list of admired leaders. You have to have the courage to go against the grain to make my list.

PT—
My nomination is Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

Why was Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin assassinated in 1995?

Quote:
. . . . .
On November 4, 1995, an individual associated with an extremist group did assassinate Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, shooting him with a 9mm Beretta pistol after a political rally in Tel Aviv's "Malchei Yisrael" Square, a rally in support of the peace process that was attended by more than 100,000 people. A 27 year-old Jewish law student named Yigal Amir was apprehended on the scene and confessed to the crime. He was unrepentant and later told prosecutors that the assassination was meant to halt the Mideast peace process. He said that Rabin wanted to "give our country to the Arabs," and "We need to be cold-hearted." He was motivated by a disturbed, extremist religious and political point of view.
. . . . . .

Yitzhak Rabin is the leader, guess I better find an 8x10 for my 'Hall of Fame'.

I can't remember the precise reason I had for refraining from Rabin previously. Maybe I'll just get a 5x7 for now.
