Sounds like there are people pondering this dilemma: Do I vote on Super Tuesday or attend the Super Bowl parade?

BOSTON (WPRI) -- Boston's mayor Tom Menino says politics might pose a problem if New England wins the Super Bowl.

The victory parade would most likely be held on the same day as Massachusetts' Primary Election.

Good gravy!

Everyone will be hung over, maybe a parade would wake them up?

Talk about the Bread and Circuses of the Roman Empire!!!

1. If the parade presents a problem—reschedule to Wednesday

2. Any reasonably intelligent human so be able to accomplish both in the same day

3. If voting in the primary takes second seat to the parade—maybe we don't need them voting anyway

4. finally, what bullshit.

And if the people of Massachusetts are so shallow, if the Patriots lose, do they decide not to vote because they're all pee'd off?

Well, now, what's a fan to do, except go to the polls? What do they need with another super bowl win anyway?

Actually what was Boston's problem becomes New York's. Giants fans are even more rabid than Pat fans. Even though the Giants play all their home games in New Jersey, you can bet there will be parades in NYC.

Yeah, that sounds right.

Now, did Romney jinx Tom Brady?

Romney ... on Saturday emailed New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wishing him good luck in the Superbowl ...

I guess if upsets are possible of that nature, then a Romney win in NY over McCain is too.

Then there's Hillary's take on the game.

Quote:
"Was that great? That was a great game!" she proclaimed to the press corps aboard her campaign airplane, waiting to fly off to New York.

"Super Bowl – Super Tuesday – I think it's a great omen."

Careful what you wish for girl, Obama could just do it.

Wow! Check out the latest poll numbers for tomorrow's primary.

Released: February 04, 2008
Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Poll: Ahead of Super Tuesday, McCain Dominates Everywhere Except California; Obama Enjoys a Super Sunday

I'm not surprised that McCain is way ahead of Romney, but I'm shocked at how well Obama is doing!

personally i'm hoping and pulling for obama.

actually for the 1st time in nearly 50 yrs our primary here in pa may actually play a role in the outcome between hillary and obama. ours isn't held till april and historically has been nothing more than a rubberstamp formality of the likely candidate that emerged from the earlier primaries.

could be exciting.
