The insanity of thinking that Rush Limbaugh is one of the leaders of the 9/11 truth movement has been demonstrated. You cannot find one quote from Rush where he agrees with the 9/11 movement. Nor can you find any quote from JBS supporting the 9/11 truth movement.

To me it wasn't obvious that you were against the first post there. As I stated, if you weren't that poster, it sure sounded like you agreed with him. If this is not true, I apologize.

I would also state that the attacks on the 9/11 truth seekers not only exists on leftist sites but on all types of sites. Believe it or not, I find these attacks aren't as numerous as before. Back in 2003 and 2004, I was constantly attacked, not just because I questioned the official story, but because my posts would "help the terrorists" and I was being very "anti-American."

The attacks on my patriotism are much less frequent now. Very few people now accuse me of abetting the terrorists. Nevertheless, there are still many similar posts on all kinds of forums. In other words, merely posting on said thread would not change much. These guys will just leave one thread and start another, or else they would just move on to another forum and allow someone else to continue on that one. Different name, same bs.

I'm sorry for being so pragmatic about this, but I have seen this same stuff on many different forums. At first, I would fight them tooth and nail about the facts of that day. After a while, they'd stop posting on that thread and a few days later someone else would start a new thread about the very same thing. I eventually got tired of repeating myself everytime a new poster comes on board to claim the same bs.

Those who want the truth will find the truth sites. Those who wish to stay blind will gravitate towards people like that first poster. There are millions of Americans who refuse to believe that their government has done anything wrong since its original inception. I'm surprised that doesn't happen more frequently here. I have to wait up to five minutes to see if my post goes through or not. What I do, in the case that I'm not sure, is to hit CTL A (which highlights the entire post) and then CTL C (which copies it to the clipboard). Then if the post doesn't go through for any reason, I can readily reproduce it. I don't know if that would have helped in this case or not.

I understand what you're saying. The task seems daunting indeed. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of message boards out there. Each one has a unique set of members, even though some of those members may also exist on other boards. It is impossible to hit every one. In fact, it is impossible to hit a majority of them. Though your concern is justified, and your goals are well motivated, the sheer volume of boards out there make it impossible to reach all of them or all of their members.

Planting seeds is good. Nurturing seeds is good. But if you spend the time watering them and cultivating them until their fully grown, you'll find that years have gone by and all you have to show for it is a patch of ground with a few trees you planted many years before. You have a patch with beautiful trees surrounded by a vast waste land of asymmetric idiocy and incongruity.

There is a big abyss between what we here in America (and I assume that you live in this country too) see and hear about the world, and what the rest of the world sees and hears. Americans are among the least knowledgeable about what goes on in the world. There are the Chinese in their villages, the Indians and their villages, and people who live far from techonology who are as ignorant, but of those with modern technology and the wherewithal to know what's going on, the US stands alone atop the pillar of ignorance. The chasm is huge and I don't see it shrinking very much.

I'll get to the point of that in a moment. Let's look at your premise. Alex Jones is not the leader of the 9/11 truth movement. In fact, he is on the fringe in many ways. He's not the only one, but he is one of the more visible ones. There is a lot of good stuff coming from the 9/11 truth movement, but there are huge barriers already in existence that make the task of accepting the truth that much harder. This is where the other paragraph was going.

In order for most Americans to accept the 9/11 truth movement, they must first accept the fact that they've been lied to all these years. They must accept the fact that the world they've been told exists, doesn't even come close to reality. Americans have to see that they have been lied to for decades. And even before that can happen, they need brain cell activity. That, in and of itself, is perhaps the greatest barrier to accepting the 9/11 truth movement, the lack of brain cell activity.

Look at the polls these days taken in the US. How many people today actually believe that we won in Vietnam?? How many believe that Saddam had ties to 9/11?? How many believe that he had ties to terrorist groups?? The amount of disception in the US is astounding and it always has been. The MSM has been feeding lies to Americans for decades and on purpose. Operation Mockingbird was for that precise reason.

If a given American person reads their entire life that the US actually won in Vietnam, that Saddam was a bad guy who was involved in 9/11 and worldwide terrorism, and that the a great part of the world hates the US for "its freedoms," the likelihood of getting that person to accept ideas as radical as the 9/11 truth movement is virtually nil. And you have millions of people out there who think that way, or sometihng very similar. The problem isn't feeding them 9/11 truth material, it's getting them to see the lies they've been feed and are continuing to be fed. Only when they open their eyes and see the bs for what it is, will they begin to understand what happened on 9/11. With eyes wide shut, the 9/11 truth movement looks like another one of those "crop circle" "ufo" "the leaders are all lizard people" type of movement.

Okay, I've rambled on long enough. I will post on that thread what I've stated here. I have a list of forums that could choke a horse, but I'll state what I know there so they can at least see a different viewpoint. But again, the problem isn't the dissemination of truth, it's the blindness of the people. All the great halogen lights in the world are useless to a blind man. Solve that problem, and you won't need to scamper about for help.
