I love this board. Several times a day I visit while looking forward to some new enlightenments. Sometimes there is nothing.

As for me, I don't want a swarming board because that never fails to attract an active disinformation agent who thinks it is his duty to police everyones thoughts. It is nice to kind of know each poster as well.

I suspect the fact that the only access is gained by clicking forums...keeps people from finding us (is that the intent?). Everything else locks me out. I used to think the board had been hacked and was not available.

This board is home to so many of us who have traveled in cyberspace together for quite a long time. You have become one of us, too, Purple Tang. It's not unusual for small boards like TVNL to be very quiet during the summertime, though. We're also competing, usually quite unsuccessfully, with boards that are "fun," and "exciting" because there's lots of fighting and discord going on. We're not on the upper echelons of the discussion board radar, either, in my opinion. We're known to be left-leaning and we're known to not tolerate trolls and deliberate troublemakers.

We've lost some good members in recent months...and a few of them left without a really understandable reason. That hurts.

I'm always open to new ideas to stimulate the board, so if you have some, throw them out on the table and we'll discuss them.

i'm here; but cut off the top of my middle finger on my right hand (including the bone) on tuesday. SO I am hurting and not very adept at typing ith one hand yet. I have been reading though and defintely agree with you PT, this is a great place. Also agree that ypu are a great member. Forgive all of the errors...i'll get better at this.

i think the board is fine. the word is probably out about how bullshit right wing trolls don't get away with thier tactics here. they know this is a war for the mental state of the union and realize we are definitely on the other side.

it's easy to see who's side any site is on once you choose to post. if you're quickly locked out or banned that sites administarators agendas are definitely exposed.

fairness??????????......... the other side could care less about being fair or the rights guaranteed under the constitution. they knew this would be the final battlefront and will stop at nothing to spread as much neopropaganda as possible.

sites like ours are thier mortal enemy.
