Today the Barr Campaign released a video of Bob talking about John McCain’s ‘Maverick’ credentials. I would agree with his assessment: if John McCain is a political maverick, who isn’t? Considering how many establishment candidates have been talking about ‘Changing Washington’ since the primaries, I guess we shouldn’t be too surprised.

There are tons of mud available to throw on McCains record. Lets see if they broker a deal to keep the campaign civil. I suspect they did that with Bush..in order to keep his less than stellar track record fron scrutiny.

I can't remember when Americans were so apathetic during a presidential election year. Is it because the candidates were chosen long ago and now they're just two more ho-hum characters dancing around in our peripheral vision? When is the excitement going to start? It was there for awhile during the Clinton-Obama contest, but now it's just another day at the office! :?

If Americans showed half the concern over this election as they're showing about who won what Olympic medal, I might have some hope for our Constitutional future. As things stand, W could declare martial law, and most of the people I know wouldn't even care...if they even knew.

Police states are marvelous vehicles for creating apathy and crushing leadership and creativity.

I have found a way to scare our citizens. Show them the DVD called "Washington You're Fired". Yesterday, a lady was so frightened when she saw the DVD title that she said "Are we in trouble now? Is the FBI and CIA going to show up now?"

I said "You see, thats the trouble. Citizens are frightened of the government now." You know what Jefferson said about that.
