FOR ONCE, CNN IS REPORTING A STORY THAT RINGS TRUE....according to this report, Putin is coming forward saying that the US helped orchestrate the Georgian war...in order to help a certain presidential candidate...

Putin: U.S. orchestrated Georgian war

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of the presidential election candidates. In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Very interesting, although the "presidential candidate" isn't actually named....

I am not surprised as there is no depth they have left unplumbed.

But isn't it interesting that Putin finally is saying publicly what he's probably known all along about Bush and the Rethugs? Putin is former KGB...if there is such a thing as "former" in that organization, and he knows that if a person acts like a thug, talks like a thug, and thinks like thug, then he IS a thug..and that is how he's perceived George W. Bush all along.

Bush is so arrogant that he has never really cared what Putin or other leaders in Europe think of him. They don't rank. They're not important. It's only little Georgy that is important....

I'm also not so sure that Putin was referring to McCain. He may very well have been referring to Bush himself. After all, if there was ever an American man who would like to be the imperial president, it's Bush.
