The only way this could be a repetition of Cuba 1962, is to make it a repetition of Iraq 2003. Cuba is only 90 miles from Florida; Venezuela is over a thousand miles away. Pure lies and bullshit is the only way there could be trouble over this. Yes I know this not beyond the pale of the NeoCon mindset but should be resisted at all costs.

Maybe it's in direct response to Palin's loose talk in her recent interview. If she and McSame win the election, I imagine there will be several countries making defiant stances, especially those that haven't been especially supportive of the Bushies, of which McSame is a proud, card-carrying member, as is Palin.
