(((((((((PURPLE TANG!))))))))) :3some: :wav:

Actually, this board is full of folks who have known each other for several years. You've come to know us, too, PT. We've traveled together through cypbespace and landed together at several other places as well. When one moved, we all did...TVNL has been our home for some of us more than three years.

Right now most members are just trying to survive...I'm so busy personally, I can't get online much except early in the morning or late at night. But I do miss my online time...

I'm sorry we've not been as chatty as we would like to be, but of course, I can only speak for myself. Believe me, I think we would be much "chattier" if we weren't working hard just trying to survive in this bleak economy and serious time of the year. :confused5: :confused2: :shaking2: :shaking: :study: :cyclopsani: :compress: :bounce: :drunken: :geek:

I agree with Catherine, PT. My ideal would be to chat daily with you all, but that isn't possible right now.

I know the feeling of going somewhere and sort of walking around an empty warehouse, but when circumstances permit the warehouse will be full of chatty people also wishing to bond.

It is hard to come to the site and leave feeling as lonely as when you came. Please know everyone here cares--that is the important thing about this place. Everyone here is a caring person, we just don't get to express is as often as we like.

I thought of you PT when the news said first responders to IKE didn't have anything to eat or drink. Take care of your stash, you never know when it will be needed. I haven't done my autumn stock up shopping yet. Not looking forward to it but it is needed. I generally eat six months on a stock up run.

Keep well PT. And in essence we are all here whether our names are listed or not. Our hearts are in the right place.

Thanks for mentioning it.

The repubs in my area must be getting really afraid of an Obama victory.

I had my OBAMA/BIDEN sign stolen from my yard last night! Several other OBAMA signs from other lawns were taken, too.

Not sure whether to be mad or to laugh at their desperation! :P (Maybe it was Elizabeth Dole... )

I wonder which side steals the most signs on average.

Locals steal the Democratic nominees' signs much more than the other way around.

From what I've heard over the last few days, there are Obama-Biden signs being stolen more than any others.

I went out and bought another Obama sign, though. I moved it up closer to my house, which sits on a hill. I stuck it in an old wheelbarrow which I use as a flowerbed. I also attached a BEWARE OF DOG sign right under it.

As an extra precaution, I take the Obama sign inside after dark.

I have a very tall chimney, and I thought of putting a very large Obama-Biden sign up on it, but I decided that might be going a bit too far! :P
