To Johnny C.O.B. (Corrupt Old Bastard),

Having graduated at the bottom of your class at Annapolis, you were still given the chance to train as a jet pilot. Why do believe that someone such as yourself, that has ALWAYS received special treatment, can understand, empathize and work for common American voters?

How does it feel to know that if you choose to work for the people, rather than the globalists, assassination is highly likely. You do know that don't you?

Oh silly me. You would not have made it this far if the globalists did not own you. Sorry to bother you with the overly obvious.

Now when will you strike Iran? Now how about Syria? Have they failed to tell you their target dates? How inconsiderate!

WHY DID YOU REALLY CHOOSE SARAH PALIN AS YOUR RUNNING MATE AND HOW WILL A MCCAIN-PALIN ADMINISTRATION BE DIFFERENT FROM THE BUSH-CHENEY ADMINISTRATION, GIVEN YOUR VOTING RECORD IN THE SENATE, AND MS. PALIN'S LIMITED POLITICAL EXPERIENCE? (NOT TO MENTION HER LIMITED BRAIN POWER!)

Let's not forget his proven record of being the dullest knife in the drawer and his recent evidence of senility!!

WHO SCORED AND WHO DIDN'T?

I thought McCain was extremely disrespectful and smirking. He never did turn to Obama and look him directly in the eye. He told a lot of stories about himself, Reagan, and how he'd been here and he'd been there. He seemed to be rather emotional at times and his facial contortions were really repulsive. While these things can't be determined as a "score" or not, I think it certainly demonstrates how disdainful McCain is of anyone who has the audacity to challenge him on any issue, but especially a young black man who shows him up for what he is...an old man from the old political school who wants to keep the Bush policies alive and well for another four years. He is overconfident...which makes me think he and his neocon buddies think he's got this one sewn up....like Bush did in 2004.

On the other hand, I think McSame's overall attitude is going to be a major turnoff to swing voters and independents. He might have won over a few undecideds by his talk about his "record," but real thinkers are going to realize that McSame is not what America needs if we want to ever overcome the harm done by the Bush administration.

AND I wonder if McCain might have felt a little twitch in his willy when he alluded the one time to his running mate! He smiled like a proud papa!

I think Obama won this first debate by a narrow margin, and I also think he's got to get more aggressive and hit McCain immediately when he tells lies. Take a look at this live blog:

Like Gergen said, McCain did not accomplish what he had to accomplish. McCain did better than I expected.

In my travels around the internet tonight, I found that an increasing amount of blogs and message boards are discussing the ad that had apparently been prepared by the McCain campaign prior to the debate:

This one was the Huffington Post, so the Huffington Post decided to make some of their own:

I guess the McSame camp forgot about this historic event:
