I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd drop in and say hi...

for those of you who don't know me or have forgotten, let me give you my canned intro...

I AM TheStripey1, peace tiger. I'm a recovering republican and a Viet Nam vet. Although I lean left on some issues, I am NOT a liberal and altho I lean right on other issues, I am NOT a conservative. I consider myself to be a centrist and my political party unafilliated independant. But since I am staunchly anti-bush, you will find me swinging from the left side of center more often than not.

Looks around... uhhhhh, is this a righty board? a lefty board? or a combo of both?

Anyway, I have lots of hot button issues that interest me so I imagine that I'll be making your acquaintence on the forums soon...

This place used to be a lefty board... is it still one or have you found some right wingers brave enough to stay?

of course, Dori... just because I no longer post here as often as I used to doesn't mean I've become a republican again...

It just means I'm on more and bigger boards now... with lots and lots of lurkers...

lurkers are my focus now, just as much as they were then...

When I found myself limited by the sig line character count, I just included what I wanted in the picture. This way you get to say ALL you want to say. The remaining characters were then available for blog links.
