People like Palin used to stir up lynch mobs. The McCain campaign is treading on dangerous ground but they don't seem to care.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ALONG TO YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES. SARAH PALIN IS BEHAVING IN A VERY DANGEROUS WAY, STIRRING UP IDIOTS AND VERY DANGEROUS PEOPLE. IF SOMEONE GETS HURT OR KILLED, SHE AND MCCAIN SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE.

McCain had said that racially explosive attacks related to Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, are off limits. But Palin told New York Times columnist Bill Kristol in an interview published Monday: "I don't know why that association isn't discussed more."

Worse, Palin's routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric's questions for her "less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media." At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, "Sit down, boy."

McCain's swoon is largely out of his control, the result of an economic collapse that ignited new fears Monday when the Dow Jones industrial average closed below 10,000 for the first time in four years. That's why his lead in Florida polls, which once reached as high as 15 points, has turned into a three-point deficit.

But the campaign has reacted with recriminations (the St. Petersburg Times reported that the Florida Republican Party chairman, after questioning Palin's aptitude, was told that he couldn't fly on her plane) and now Palin's rage.

The angry GOP vice presidential nominee even found a way to blame the market decline on the yet-to-be-enacted tax policies of the yet-to-be-elected Obama.

"If you turn on the news tonight when you get home, you're gonna see that, yah, this is another woeful day in the market, and the other side just doesn't understand -- no!" she said at an afternoon fundraiser at the home of mutual fund giant Jack Donahue. "Especially in a time like this, you don't propose to increase taxes. The phoniest claim in a campaign that's full of them is that Barack Obama is going to cut your taxes."

Of course, Obama never promised to cut taxes for people at $10,000-a-plate lunches in air-conditioned tents on waterfront compounds. And the crowd -- among them New York Jets owner Woody Johnson -- reacted without applause to Palin's Joe Six-Pack lines. After they didn't strike up the usual "Drill, baby, drill" or "USA" chants, Palin, rattled, read hurriedly through the rest of her speech.

The reception had been better in Clearwater, where Palin, speaking to a sea of "Palin Power" and "Sarahcuda" T-shirts, tried to link Obama to the 1960s Weather Underground. "One of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers," she said. ("Boooo!" said the crowd.) "And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,' " she continued. ("Boooo!" the crowd repeated.)

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience.

Palin also told those gathered that Obama doesn't like American soldiers. "He said that our troops in Afghanistan are just, quote, 'air-raiding villages and killing civilians,' " she said, drawing boos from a crowd that had not been told Obama was actually appealing for more troops in Afghanistan.

"See, John McCain is a different kind of man: He believes in our troops," she said.

At times, Palin hinted at the GOP campaign's troubles. "It's going to be a hard-fought contest, especially in these swing states, some maybe we would not have expected," she admitted to donors. She allowed that "John McCain and I need to do a better job" of talking about the economy.

At other times, she had troubles of her own, as when she spoke over the weekend of "our neighboring country of Afghanistan" or when she got choked up at the Clearwater rally, saying, "Some of your signs just make me wanna cry," without explaining which ones or why.

But then the gloves came off, the heels came out, and Palin was once again talking about her opponent hanging out in a terrorist's living room

YEP!, it is always true, right before one being taken to the gallows to be hanged, they scream, beg, and speak in unknown tongue, know that death is a short time to follow. We can apply that to the MOST, MOST, DANGEROUS republican presidential campaign in history.

THIS STORY SHOULD MAKE EVERY AMERICAN WHO ISN'T PART OF THIS MINDSET WANT TO GO OUT AND VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA ON NOV. 4.

What I Learned at the Sarah Palin Rally Before They Threw Me out

By Linda Mazzo, Alternet

20,000 Christian zealots, anti-abortion fanatics, and mostly white suburbanites reconnected with their high school past at the Palin rally

Last Saturday I went to Carson, California, to attend a rally for Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin. For those who aren't familiar with the city of Carson, it's approximately 19 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. In the 2004 Presidential election, Carson, which had a population of just under 90,000, donated three times as much money to George W. Bush than to John Kerry. This year, for the 2008 elections, residents of Carson have given slightly more to Republican candidates than to Democrats by a slim margin of $3,000. Thus the gap between Republicans and Democrats in Carson has narrowed.

The Palin rally, which you may have seen on youtube and TV, was held at the Home Depot ADT Tennis Stadium. Because of the surprising popularity of Mrs. Palin and easy access to free tickets, all 20,000 stadium seats, plus an overflow area were filled. I got a handful of tickets, recruited my friend Rebecca Tobias, Program Director of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Ethics, and trekked on out to Carson. We scored ground level seats in the stadium from which I watched, listened and steadily bristled. When I could no longer stomach Palin's lies and distortions, I jumped up, and at the top of my lungs, repeatedly called Palin a L-I-A-R! I was shouted down in Palinese by her 20,000 admirers, then escorted out by security. I took extra time as I climbed the steps from the ground up to the top just to keep her admirers shouting. The few minute reprieve from Palin's lies was to me a righteous diversion.

When I neared the top of the steps I turned back to Mrs. Palin and continued to call her a L-I-A-R, until I was ushered out the door. Thankfully my escorts showed me the utmost respect for they privately shared my feelings. They're working folk. They see through Mrs. Palin. But that's just the start of this story

You see, I'd gone to this event for a reason. Not to see Sarah Palin. I already knew who she was. I went to see the Palinettes -- the supporters of this unspectacular woman who had so readily been won over. I wanted to meet them and speak with them and understand their attachment to this lowest common denominator politician -- a woman so unqualified for Vice President that her appointer running mate should be imprisoned for treason. As a patriot and voter, I disagree categorically with the choice of Sarah Palin. I seek knowledge, experience, maturity, integrity, charity, clarity, humanity, intellectual curiosity, and wisdom from the leaders I select. Since Palin, in my opinion, exhibits none of these traits, I wanted to assess her supporters' rationale (or rational-ity).

What I witnessed was thoroughly alarming!!

Among this raptured crowd of 20,000 was a frightening mix of Christian zealots, anti-abortion fanatics, and mostly white suburban women and men reconnecting with their high school mentality. Bright colored pom-poms were everywhere -- as if Sarah Palin were head cheerleader, the women were on her squad, and the men were the football heroes. Sarah Palin, the quintessential 4ever-school-girl had revitalized their youth and saved them from adulthood. Check out the red pom-pom "hair" on the man behind Palin. If that isn't high school, what is??

Want further proof of pom-pom Palin? Try this as an experiment. Put on an audio of a Sarah Palin speech. Close your eyes and listen. What you'll hear is the high pitched voice of a teenage girl, speaking in circular reasoning, incomplete sentences, and juvenile idioms. No sophistication. No leadership. No wisdom. Just the sound of a snarky school girl. Sarah Palin is America's greatest nightmare. Sarah Palin is George W. Bush in a dress!

Image

Of course there are those who might say that my own outburst toward Sarah Palin was juvenile -- to which I'd respond with a resounding NO! It's never juvenile to speak truth to ignorance. To say nothing would be derelict. Certainly, I'd be naive to think that calling Palin a L-I-A-R would make her adorers believe me. But to sit quietly while Palin accused Obama of being:

"someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists [Bill Ayers] who would target their own country"

would make me complicit in the group-think that promotes a lie to a truth.

I'd rather be thrown out for the truth than group-hugged for a lie.

While Palin's peevishness is appalling, it pales in comparison to the dangerous ideology that she and her followers share. By unleashing Sarah Palin, John McCain has reinvigorated the anti-choice/anti-woman/anti-reproductive rights fanatics, who not long ago were at the forefront of domestic terror. Interesting that Palin insinuates Obama when referring to:

"terrorists who would target their own country"

when it's those who share herideology who have committed heinous domestic crimes.

Let us not forget the health-care workers who were murdered by anti-choice radicals who share Palin's no exceptions for abortion beliefs. Let us not forget the women and family clinics that were bombed. Let us not forget Eric Rudolph - the anti-abortion terrorist who killed two people and injured 100 others during the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. The same Eric Rudolph who bombed abortion clinics that killed even more people. The same Eric Rudolph who sadistically attacked a gay bar. Let us not forget that the Sarah Palin wing of anti-choice fanaticism victimized America for years, committing crime after heinous crime. What John McCain has unleashed on America with his choice of Sarah Palin is an outright invitation to these cults to wreak havoc all over again.

On Saturday I got a taste of this anti-choice fanaticism as Palin's zealots shouted "baby killers" at the pro-Obama activists outside. I saw it first hand with the anti-choice tirades looped again and again by one Palin follower after another. This is their mission -- their single issue cause -- and Sarah Palin has given it life. With the economy spiraling downward, the world at war, the planet over-heating, and continents dying from famine and disease, Sarah Palin's followers are driven by one issue only -- the total end of abortion.

Yes, the silly Palin chatter of"she's one of us 'cause she talks like us and is a regular person"was also spun at Saturday's event. As was propaganda about Obama"getting paid undercover by some other country"and "doubt that Obama was really born in Hawaii because his birth certificate can't be found".

Sadly this level of ignorance exists -- even in Southern California. In fact, it was so illogically mind-boggling that I audio-taped it as proof.

Palin and her weak links between Obama and Ayers could come back to haunt her. There are stronger links between her and other extremists / would be militia types.

We really have to worry about Palin's palin' around. Can you imagine her bringin' in that nutty witch hunter.

Not too mention her big pal, Todd, who pals around with a political party whose central tenet is treason.

I am a strong supporter of Obama and find it interesting that his Birth certificate is in question. I also ran across a article
that I have no response to. Can you help me counter this attack?

here is an example:

Why does the Obama birth certificate list his fathers race as AFRICAN and not NEGROE?
Up until 1968, the standard term for all Africans was “negroe”. It was not until the Black Revolution when negroe or negro became a foul description in the late 1960’s and then “black” was demanded by this group to describe them.
It was not until the late 1970’s when political correctness came into vogue that it ushered in by the 1980’s the term “African” to describe all blacks.
Whoever forged this birth certificate was not utilizing the 1960’s terminology which a black person would be listed as. They fell instead into a warped year 2000 politically correct description of “African”.

I can see you would want some honesty here regarding the actual records on Obama birth certificate. So, here's my thoughts. Obama says he is 48 years old. That would put his birth in 1960, gave or take a few months. Given the fact I was stationed in Hawaii with the U.S. Navy that year, and probably could count on my fingers and toes the total number of Africa-Americans (Negroes) on the Island...majority being the military or former military personnel. So, with that being the case, here is a young 18 year old women knowing no doubt she will give birth to a baby of dark skin. It would be an embarrassment to a white women in a situation as this, and social circles. She may have had the baby at home with a mid-wife instead at the hospital. The birth certificate may have been completed at a later date, or even years later.

Will we ever know? Being honest here... who cares? Unless it's Sean Hannity, Bill O'Rielly, or the slime balls in the republiican party.

What I find interesting about this discussion about Obama's birth certificate is the fact that McWar was with out a doubt outside the US in the Panama Canal Zone. His father was stationed there in the Navy; meaning that McWar has had full medical coverage from the government since the day he was born until this very minute. His attitude on medical coverage is basically, "I have mine, so fuck the rest of you."

What sort of image is "Joe six pack" supposed to evoke? Six pack of abs or flabs?

If the latter, my image is of a dude carrying around his six pack of beer, sort of trashy like. Who would want to be associated with that sort of imagery?

McCain/Palin are certainly courting the extremes. Joe six pack and Joe Boërl and Kroff by the case. What happened to addressing Joe middleclass?

I've not heard a word about JOSEPHINE or PLAIN JANE or MARY SUE or JO ANN...

While McCain obviously thinks all females are on the same intellectual level as Sarah Palin or his silly whacked out wife, he is about to have to accept that most of us are a hell of a lot smarter and more ethical than he is.

WATCH OBAMA GET MORE WOMEN'S VOTES THAN MCCAIN DOES.

I had an additional thought about the Negro versus African thing. This was indeed Hawaii, the most ethnically diverse population on a statewide basis. I don't believe, unlike Alaska, that the Klan or Skinheads make much headway there. I believe that Whites have been and still are a minority in the state.

Interesting point. All this focus on Joe six pack, which seems to discount the "lumber Jills" or the classic "Rosie the Riveters" or "Susie Homemakers".

My god, does Palin even mention them in her rabble rousing?

She's Sarah the governor and she doesn't even address "Barbara boardroom" or "Mary mid-level exec". Does she have something against them?

My view is that YES, she does. She knows they see right through her, that they have no interest in how high her skirts ride up, nor do they think she's smart enough to be VP. They cringe when she speaks. They know that regardless of what she's wearing or how much it cost, Sarah Palin is a country bumpkin come to town...and the sooner she goes back to Alaska to STAY, the better off we're all going to be.

Rift Within the McCain Campaign Widens

More reports are surfacing of serious rifts within the McCain campaign, something that is generally not helpful during the final week of any campaign. Sarah Palin feels she has been mistreated and is about to be made a scapegoat for the impending Republican disaster. Her friends in the campaign feel that if she had been left free to campaign as she saw fit, she would have done far better. She would undoubtedly have been a rip-roaring conservative, bashing Obama, liberals, blue states, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, gays, gun-control freaks, environmentalists, and the whole nine yards, full bore with no restraints. Probably the only group the left coddles that might have been spared are unwed teenage mothers. But every time she got off message, her handlers told her to cut it out. If McCain loses, she will be free to speak her mind starting November 5th and she will probably start a cataclysmic battle for the soul of the Republican party.

http://electoral-vote.com/

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008 ... 663&page=1

At the first link, there's also a report about Alaska's Ted Stevens:

Quote:
If Stevens is reelected anyway, then expelled from the Senate in January, a vacancy will be created and there will be a special election. No doubt Sarah Palin will be very tempted to run and would surely win. This would inject her into national politics in a big way very fast. But the chance of Stevens being reelected next week is small.

That's all we need...Corrupt Alaska senator replaced with Alaska's corrupt, rightwing extremist, anti-wildlife, anti-environment, intellectually challenged governor who has a rapidly developing reputation as being a "diva."
