I don't know what to say about the ending- full of weird lights and trippy scenes. There's a baby at the end. The Russians when they first saw the movie felt it was interesting, but not interesting enough to elaborate on what they thought.

I have been looking for this site, which I found on the 'church of Bob' site. This is one persons interpretation of it. Agree with it or not, it does give one pause to think and elaborate. Enjoy.

He has a commentary and criticism section which gives other peoples views of it over many years, so check it out.

i think during it's time it was considered as being "deep"....but watch the movie today and you'll fall asleep.

since we're on the subject...star wars 1 was great for it's time, but the last two episodes simply sucked. i wasn't impressed one bit and when i borrowed the CD from a friend i watched maybe half an hour and turned it off.

but, i guess one could argue that SW is geared more for kids as compared to 2001.
