survivors................yes i can truely relate.

i can remember running out ot unemployment on 2 occassions along with paying several thousand dollars out of my retirement fund just to keep my familys health insurance active.

things have definitely picked up though in the past 2 years as i've been very busy with a lot of overtime.

there were several executive orders that bush signed in 2000 that directly affected how much EPA upgrade work occured at powerplants where i do the bulk of my work. now that the repugs are gone clean air and pollution standards will be back in place as obama has said he is going to directly reverse/wipe out all of bushs bullshit.

thank the good lord above we truely did survive.............in ways we may not have even thought of yet.

Thanks, PT and rooster. Indeed, I'm glad this site came into being (THANKS, JESSE!) and that we all managed to hold on throughout the last few years. I am very proud that we played a small part in helping to bring truth to those who cared to seek it out. Still, we've got a long, rough row to hoe along with Obama, so we're not out of the forest yet, not by a long shot.

BUT, as Cheney said a week or so ago.."Well, we've got a few more days left...." when some reporter asked him about his and Bush's failure to capture OBL. I doubt seriously if Darth Cheney was thinking of OBL when he gave that evil little grin of his. I swear, he looks just like a death's head when he does that.

I won't really accept that they're GONE until I see Obama swear to uphold the Constitution and I see Bush and his two gherkins (one of them is holding his hand and the other is between his bow-legs) take that last helicopter ride out of DC.
