Another thing the MIC learned from Nam is to not institute another draft. People tend to get pissed off when they or their kids are forced into wars. Of course, as we can see, as long as the people in the military choose to be there then most of the sheep have the luxury to remain ignorant because the war does not affect them in any meaningful way.

If it were not for the tradgedy, I would actually support a re institution of the draft as I have stated in the past. Perhaps that would get people angry enough to take some real action as their sons and daughters are no longer able to live in a shell of delusion.

Instead we will have to wait for the comming finacial implosion.

CNN and it's appalling analysis after the obama speech on Guantanamo , was yet another example of the left Vrs. Right fight the love to fuel and avoiding certain facts , that reflect badly on what this country continues to do , to innocent people around the world .

After Obama ADMITTED , " some detainees can not go to trial & be released , because the way evidence was obtained " , abosolutley no comment was given , from Sanchez , Crowley. or Stoddard , instead these useless infotainers gave the same speech about how our security is threaten and how oama is trying to find a "balance " .

What , A BALANCE , are you @#@#@#@ kidding me , this is the main problem this country faces and more so , the innocent people held at Guantanamo , the unjustified holding of innocent people , not even given a chance to go to trial , to prove their innocents and The media acts as if there are some big changes happening . But of course they have to continue the myth and hide the bloody reality , of what this country perpetuates around the world . If this joe six pack sees what's happening or NOT happening , that the Obama is playing con game , pretending to be open and transparent and follow the rule of law , while continuing the rendition program and the indefinite holding of innocent people and the media doesn't admit this reality , we have no honest and reliable media .

If the media reported just the facts, what would they do with all that time they've got to fill now that they're on 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Couple the time with the ratings race and we get very little that isn't elaborate propaganda. Most Americans have no idea how to watch or listen to the news stories, anyway.

I don't know why there is such a hue and cry about Guantanamo. Obama said he was going to close it during the campaign...and at that time, most people agreed it should be closed. Then, Cheney never leaves DC nor shuts his lying mouth, and Rush Limbaugh becomes the real chair of the Repub party and the sheeple fall right into line, looking up to see if the sky is indeed falling as Uncle Dick says it will if Gitmo is closed..
