I have the reverse situation: I don't have a My Space Page and my Facebook account is in my real name—they don't allow "handles." So you won't see me on either.

I got bored with Facebook lickity split, and dumped almost everything -- friends (accept my wife), fanboy stuff, groups.

I've got another profile that I feel safer with because it is anonymous and needs no friends. I'm paranoid about how one's comments on FB can come back to haunt them at work.

I am often surprised at how much time seems to be spent by people who are at work but who are going to chatboards and checking out their personal spaces, such as FB, and they're not always doing it on their break time. Does this happen where you work, CZ?

I have never joined facebook or any other social networking site. Of course, we are sort of a social network here, aren't we? :mrgreen:

My art instructor says that she has a friend who posts practically every time she goes to the bathroom or anything else that happens in her day onto her facebook account! :lol:

Anyway, since this thread was started a year ago today, I thought I'd give it a "bump."
