A link from another discussion board in May, 2004. Liked what I saw, and never returned to the other site.

i used to be a member of capitol hill blues, and one day shadowmom posted over there with a link to here. i left there and never returned after joining this place.

I have been reading the main site news for quite some time. Then one day I noticed you all had a forum. The rest is here.

Yes, you read that right. I'm saying Americans are, by and large, ignorant, uninformed louts who follow their political leaders like mindless lemmings and believe only what they are spoon-fed by liars and professional hucksters.
Sadly, the most powerful, most affluent, nation in the world is overrun with brain-dead cretins who wouldn't know a fact if it kicked them in the shins.

Been poking around here and there, reading the Hannity wannabees and your responses to them - this is going to be fun.

How's this for a mixture? A Reg AF vietnam vet/machinist/electromechanical engineer/musician/ULC minister (not really a priest per se, but sometimes high) who is terminally ill, found medical marijuana and its coverup in mainstream religion - then became a full-blown activist. Hmmmm.

I will try to do my best to tweak the haloes of these crooks and liars. I'll sometimes quote scripture, (try not to be too offended, I'll keep it poiniant and brief) and sometimes Jefferson or other wise men of near antiquity, dispelling myth hither and fro. I don't have a chip on my shoulder nor a big head, so blaze away.

I believe myself to be a good american, I read the full spectrum of whats out there in the blogs and news right to left, then figure out where everything is going. One truth I have found is that you cannot have liberalism without liberty, and you cannot have liberty without the freedom of many voices, so those who hate 'liberals' hate liberty and freedom as well, and they are the true enemies of our country.

Long live King George and 'Chump Change' Cheyney -- stripped of all money, power, and favors, placed in the prisons they built for us! Or, would I like to see gallows on the white house lawn? or firing squad? I can't make up my mind.

I was sick and tired of Fox news. My son and I started searching the internet for any information about Fox and who owned it. We stumbled onto the main site and thought we hit the Jackpot. We read article after article and laughed ourselves silly, got mad as hell, laughed some more...... Booked marked it and kept going back to read anything new. I accidentally clicked on something and wound up here. I check in everyday to see if there are any new posts.

I live in a very conservative area and everyone just loves Bush. This site has given me back the confidence that I am NOT CRAZY, my whole county is. There for awhile I thought I had lost my mind. I have heard people say things that just make me want to PUKE.

I hold down two jobs and I do not have a lot of time to research and read articles. You guys do the researching for me and I get to read the articles. I copy the links and send them to conservatives who are in my address book (email). One of these days one of them is going to kill me or have me committed. Hey - they didn't mind sending me anything they could about Clinton.

There are a few liberals in my area, but most of the time we are considered the loonies around here. I am a very paitient person and I am silently gloating as Bush keeps digging his own grave.

High_Priest. I read you article, and I found it a very good article. I'm going to send it out to a few people I know. Many do not believe me that the reason "pot" is illegal is because of money, and the effect it will have on the drug company's.

I guess I would be someone who self medicates. I smoke very rarely when I feel stressed to the point of snapping. Never thought of using it for pain, maybe I should. I smoke very little, I can have a joint last me for months. When I do feel that I am beyond a certain point, I'll take 2 hits, and I'm good for a time.

I feel that pot is good spiritually as well as medically. It helps all around. The drug companies just cant have that.
