It is a combination of compassion, a sense of fair play, a belief in science and logic and the understanding that there is always going to be a tension and a fine line between Freedom and doing the best thing for everyone concerned. It is hard to capsulize this way of thinking in a talking point. It takes an adult to be a Liberal.”
