Interesting, CM...so, which of the debaters are you more closely aligned with?

A word of procedure about the quote you have under your name, CM...it is customary to acknowledge who said the words you are quoting...in your case, I'm assuming it's George W. Bush. I suggest that you add his name after the quote, and before the date and place where the words were said.

Otherwise, how are we to know who the person is who deserves the "credit" for such abuse of our English language? :D

Thanks, Catherine, I didn´t realise that the name was not on it!

I wouldn´t really consider myself closly aligned with either of them since i don´t follow any organized religion. However, I was quite amazed that the crucifiction, which I had presumed to be a historical fact, could be so easily broken down and made to look like a hoax.

Whether it is, or not, is another point.

I was also shocked to learn that there are hundrreds of "versions" of the Bible and that the Vatican reserves the "right" to interprete it at their convenience.

How did you do? :?:

Another interesting site is www.thehappyheretic.com :)

I realize religion is a hot topic among some of the posters, and I respect everyone's right to believe as they choose. However, it's so obvious to me that the vast majority of the world's ills are religious-based, regardless of what religion is professed. Just sad...
