Dylan Ratigan Rips GOP Congressman Kevin Brady Over Wall Street Greed

Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) looked uncomfortable when MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan introduced him Tuesday afternoon to talk about unemployment benefits and Wall Street greed. Brady's discomfort proved well-founded.

Ratigan tore into the Texas Republican, who voted against the extension of unemployment benefits but for the Wall Street bailout known as the Troubled Asset Relief Program. Brady repeatedly attempted to deflect Ratigan's harsh line of questioning on the nature of Wall Street by arguing that potential -- not actual -- tax increases are stifling capital investment and thus job creation, but the MSNBC host didn't let up.

Can you imagine a news organization that puts out a story as fact that comes from the Onion? Yep..it's FAUX NOISE!
Talk about squirming....but the worst part of this is that so many Americans actually believed the story!
!

Fox News Posts Onion Obama Story Amid Real News (update)

The Friday after Thanksgiving can be a slow news day, but that probably doesn't explain Fox News posting a fake Onion story about President Obama alongside its real news stories.

The satirical story, with the headline "The Onion: Frustrated Obama Sends Nation Rambling 75,000-Word E-Mail," appeared in the Fox Nation section of the site Friday.

Beside it was the more serious headline, "China Issues Warning Ahead of U.S.-South Korea Drills."

The original Obama headline didn't mention The Onion, and the only clue for readers was a link to the satirical site after the first two paragraphs of the story.

This is why anymore, propaganda almost always, saves me a "shitload" of time, reading anything from "Faux." It's almost like taking an "Evelyn Wood Speed Reading" course ON STEROIDS, enabling me to save enough time, to finish reading the updates to, " The Patriot Act."

Propaganda to lies, is like "Oxies" to Rush Limbaugh.

The two, simply cannot be separated!!

I really enjoy doing genealogical research and I've made some remarkable discoveries about my ancestry and that of my husband. Last year, while researching my husband's family history, I made contact with one of his unknown relatives living in Ohio and we started up a very active correspondence via email. To make a long story short, I began to suspect that this relative of my husband might be a Faux News watcher. I liked her, and still do...but I had hoped for more reasoning ability from her. Even so, I tried to steer clear of any political discussions because I didn't want to muddy the waters of family research. Anyway, this passed weekend, I got an email from her practically shouting about how the "socialist" in the White House had to be defeated and she rambled on about how much money it was costing the US taxpayer for the Obama family to vacation in Hawaii.

That did it....I sent her back a scathing response, telling her that while we had a hell of a lot in common genealogically, we had NONE, NADA, NOTHING in common politically, and then I went on to explain the idiocy that was coming from the Republicans, Fox News, the teabaggers, and I also pointed out, with many links, all about how Bush had been the most "vacationed" president since Reagan...and I also asked her what did she think the president ought to do to get to his destinations...THUMB? I asked her if she thought Bush had flown around the country on his own dime...of course he hadn't! I also pointed out that many of the good things about our country, including Social Security and Medicare, had come from socialistic ideas...and I was sure she didn't turn down her SS check nor her Medicare...

She responded back with a very lame..."You aren't saying anything I've not heard before" and then quickly changed the subject!

What is it with these people? It doesn't matter how much they're shown the truth about the Repubs and Fox News, they will still continue to believe anything they say. :?
